yea tell me about it. I have been real busy at work and an 8 month old.....need I say more :D .

The turbo beast should be back in action next week. My new mass air meter will be he today...I hope! Getting it tuned by Ed Tues or Wends. Then I'll be rockin and rollin, making big boy's cry!!

I wanted to go tonight but my NX nozzle didn't arrive. It should be here either Monday or Tuesday- just in time for me to get it put back on and tested right before SDR.

Well, mine is a street car so when I get it back we will line up the maroon and my Saleen. It will make for a good race :) What kind of times does it run?

ROFL! No way, Jeremey? Or however you spell your name. Well, I -was- going to have your old bottom end in it but the pistons were junk and so was the block. Ended up going with all new parts except I am using the crank. Theres much more than that though ;) Where have ya been?

Yeah, I am better off with new shit. Going full return style, dual 255 in-tank's, new lines, new fuel rail, and some large injectors ;) JMS is tuning it. I will get a fordchip tune later this year.. they are the best. I saw you ran something like a 10.5x on your last run? What all do you have done to that little dsm?

lol, it ran good for a couple minutes last night - finally got it all finished up and on the road (first time running in a month). anyone that is good w/ automatics (mostly aod's) and would like to help me figure out a kinda simple problem, hit me up. :)

well here's what it was doing
the car was working perfect in every gear. i was then backing it out of the driveway and the car sputtered and stalled (typical when it's cold so that was no big deal). so i went to push it back into neutral and crank it back up but it wouldn't go back up. it would get stuck just before going into 3rd all the way and couldn't get to nuetral, reverse, or park. so i cranked it back up w/ it in first and just pulled it in the garage and went to bed b/c it was really late at that point. i don't know much about autos but i took off the shifter cable and tried to push it forward w/ my hand at the tranny to rule out the shifter itself and it just won't go (so it isn't the shifter or cable). apparently, something is going on w/ that plunger where it's hooked to the shift linkage at the tranny that goes into the valvebody. i don't really know what could be wrong with it though. i'm going to take off the pan tonight, i just don't know what i'm looking for to be wrong with it or anything, i'm hoping it will be something obvious. like i said, the car can still drive, just doesn't work in all gears now, just feels like something is pushing back when i try and push it up???

You and I have been down this path before. I do not race from a dig. I go 70-170. That is what my car is set up for. Anybody that knows me knows that - ESPECIALLY the viper guys. I have never, and never will take the car down the 1/4 mile track (or 1/8 for that matter)

Also, you say I have never shown for any challanges. Show me the proof of your challange. I never heard or saw it.

I totally concede the 1/8 mile race to you and most other fast cars on this board. But I will go with you or anyone else from 70.

So the bottom line is this, if you think you can hang with me from a 70 role, bring it. I will make arrangements with you to meet on GA 400 Saturday or Sunday at 9:00am. But honeslty, I think you have as much chance of pulling on me as I do on you from a dig. So the point is moot. Our cars are both fast just set up for different things.

I really dont mind the smack talking, but to characterize me as someone that avoids specific challanges is really neither true or called for.

Not only am I slow, but so is the man that is getting his but kicked by my broke ass trany. I have found out that he has taken my car as a personal challenge and is going to work with out stopping until it is done right. And the cost of this personal time consuming event, I have no idea what it will be. I may not have enough money left for gas after all this time.

Hey Wikdlx there is a difference between your car and mine. One, I am trying to keep mine a street car and race it and take it to car shows on certain days. Two, I would have to spend tons more money than what I have to get as fast as you are. And then at that point I would not be able to enjoy it on the street as good as I do now.
