Does orlando really suck this bad? With all the rich people down here you think there would at least be some snoody rich kid on here claiming that is 2001 Civic has 20K worth of engine mods and make 10,000 hp on 87 octane. Is there no car scene at all? Is there a local dragstrip or hangout were people go and run their mouths? Is anyone here involved with car shops? maybe we could try and get something going. I'm just sick of racing porsches.

There is plenty going on there. More than most forum members could handle. (mid 8 second street cars sound fast enough??) They are just very cautious because of the police, and most fast cars only run for $$ so a turbo t-bird is not going to get you invited to many spots.

There's plenty going on in the Orlando area. 50 and Orange- a select group does nascar style racing(roll racing) and if you're looking for real racing then 33rd is your place. Want some for fun racing then head up to Orange City, and there's a group in Daytona that's got back together. Let me know if you want to set something up.

Yep, Orange City. There's a small group there that has some pretty stout street cars. Every situation covered, and if you want to be #1 you'd better bring a car that will run 9.0s on any road.

Well I have been to Orange city... it makes Mayberry look like NYC. :D

Not trying to be a dick or anything, but what does the city profile have to do with street racing? Yea, it's a small town but there are some fast cars that hang out. Do you street race? Does anybody here street race regularly? When I say that I mean standing start 1/4 or 1/8 mile street racing.

It has everything to do with it. People used to go to B______L city because it was between to larger towns and run for big $ but Orange city is in the middle of nowhere. I'm sure there are a few quick cars there but I doubt anyone from Tampa will drive there to race.
And no I don't street race anymore, in fact I don't even live in Orlando right now. I will be back with a street/strip car in about 8 months. (you should be able to find a proper hiding spot by then) :D

You'll have a car in 8 months? My car is ready to rock right now. So you hide behind your project car for now.
Didn't say anybody from Tampa would drive to Orange City, but nowadays they just might because of all the heat that's coming down. Especially on the Gandy. Roll racing is hot right now in Tampa.
But either way the post was pertaining to spots in Orlando. So I gave them along with some surrounding spots because the Orlando "dig" racing scene is on the weak side because of the new laws and cops trying to bust the imports. Orange City and Daytona are two spots where the law isn't too concerned with some old white guys street racing.

Listen dumbass, it's not my fault you can't comprehend what I wrote. The fact is I have several cars that would peel your bucket right now... I just don't LIVE in Orlando at the moment. I will be BACK in Orlando soon and will build a car the second I get there, get it?? If you can't wait until I get there I am sure you can find all the action you can handle in Orange f*cking city.
How long have you lived in Orlando anyway? I doubt you know any of the spots or people doing it the "right way", take your ass to SpeedWorld.

Did you see my first post? 33rd street John Young and JB McCloud. The Winter Garden Boys are still doing their thing. I've been in this area for 4 years and every friday night I'm in the street scene. If you have several cars that would "peel my bucket" then obviously you know what I'm driving or you're just talking out of your ass. All I did was answer the post. Speedworld is a joke- import and domestic ricer playground. The only decent racing there is the No Bull, which is where all the really fast cars in Orl are doing their battling. So where are you, I'll come to you so you can "peel my bucket". Like I said, STFU racing.

Did you just pick up "Need For Speed Underground Racing"? I have a REAL race car with your choice of powerplants. And since I am 1000's of miles away I doubt you will be stopping by for a race. When I get back to Orlando I will make you my bitch over at SpeedWorld.

The spots I named are in the video game? I guess you would know better than I would. Sounds like you just picked up a copy. I don't run at Spinworld. I run on the street. Hence the street car, street hangout, and posting in a "street car forum". You sound like a keyboard racer. I can have my pick of powerplants really? If you have it like that then why is it taking you 8 months to put something together? If you're 1000s of miles away then why are you posting in the Orlando forum and talking shit to begin with? If you really did race in this area then you would no exactly what I'm talking about and you wouldn't be talking out of your ass. Whatever. You're just another squirrel on the net. Enterprise Rd between the 2 banks in Orange City Friday nights 9:30ishpm. Nova Rd at Action Performance in Daytona 10ishpm Sat nights. 33rd street in Orlando Friday and Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon around 5ish. Hit either one of them and let me know you're going to be there and I'll be at either one with cash in hand. Ready to run your "race" car on the streets of Central Florida. Until Shut The Fuck Up.

Are you going to cry? I'll bet $$ you used to have a f*cking riced out import.
I have a true RACE car with several different combos that does not see street duty, I also have a whole shop full of street cars that are faster than your bucket.
I will explain this one more time for you retard. I don't live in Orlando right now, I DID live there for a long time and my family still lives there so I visit a few times a year. I will move BACK there in 8 months, then build a new car. Get it? Got it? Good. So check back in a few months asshat, look for the "You're called out" thread with your name on it. Speedworld, off the clock.
And BTW, anyone with a little common sense would know better than to post the names of street race locations. When I get back this site will be crawling with real racers that will kick your ass if you do that so please edit your post.

I'm done with this fuck ass thread. You have a "RACE" car with many different combos? And a shop full of street cars? So why do you have to build another one to race. You race where you are now? Eh? I used to drive a riced out import? No, I've never owned an import. Grew up on the streets of Hampton Roads, VA street racing with my Dad. I've been running my cars for 4 years on my own. Tune it myself set it up myself. I got the slips, the car, and a website that proves my legitimacy.
And I posted hangout spots NOT race spots. You think the cops don't know of these spots and that the guys run? Your comment is the #1 squirrel remark on all the boards. Yea, the cops are reading these forums and going to bust everyone that goes to a hang out, right? On a Friday night? There's much more for the coppers to worry about than a bunch of older guys out playing with their cars. Even at the Orange City hangout, there's a Deputy that comes out and hangs out with us. Two or three with the county used to run, and know where they go every friday night. So I'm done with you and your tired ass thread and your squirrel ass.

I have to build another car because I am in Europe right now... not too easy to ship a car over for a race.

I KNOW you are not talking to me! :D I'm looking at a few houses the next couple of months and should be there in June/July. It's actually cheaper to buy a house than rent one.
