What are some of the fastest street cars in your area?

I am in St. Louis, but there is a guy with a low 8 high 7 sec street car around here. He won wild street a few years ago at WFC. He went 8.30, and it was detuned for the 30 mile drive.

Well, although they are rarely (if ever) seen on the street, John Shepherd's 8-second Talon and David Buschur's 8-second, RWD, 4G63-powered Chrysler Conquest are both registered on the outer outskirts of Cleveland. (they have to have valid plates to compete in the IDRC Street class)
