Not bad at all,
Some tips for the future, dont fade whole images ontop of focal points on other images. What this will do, is cause your eyes to strain on one certain area, giving you a headache when looking at the image for lengthy periods. Holding your eyes on one of those images for longer than 2 minutes, will guarentee you a migrain.
If you like opacity level styled images, such as you have posted here, a huge and great tip for the future, is not to darken the images, leave them as bright as possible so that you can physically see what is going on. Another teqnique is side by side blending, such as this:
http://www.geocities.com/aaronlockhart19/FordOwnersGroupPic.gif
In this image, you will see a 2003 Ford Mustang SVT Cobra, side by side blended with a 2003 Ford Lightning. This is simply done using the Rectangular Marquee tool, and setting it with a 20px feather, then putting the edge of the marquee to where you want the blending to start, and hit the delete key on your keyboard.
Also there IS a Ford logo blended into the center of the image, but its not blended over a focal point, When you look at the logo, there are no heavy attibutes on the background images to distract your eyes, and you can rest your eyes on the logo for lengthy periods, without straining them. Also, notice i put the text on top of the logo, so it would keep the logo from becoming a primary focal point.
I did that image AGES ago, and I did mess up myself on that image. The text effects in that image are a "no-no". You never want to use bevel & emboss, contour, or any type of glow effect on a bright image, it makes the text VERY hard to read. The image text would have looked best in 2 dimensional form, a flat color (of my choice), and a simple color contrasting outline to define the text.
I hope these tips help you in the future.
