Yeah when you actually go to the track and race rather than talking shit on the internet sometimes shit breaks. That's part of racing. You just get that thing running. I'm new to the forum, maybe everyone else here already knows everything about your cars. But I'm seeing a bunch of guys with $6000 stangs talk shit about cars like my own... 600hp Supra... if I wanted a fast stang I'd have 3... but I perfer something that is fairly nice to drive and I can daily drive... and I can still kick the shit out of 99.9% of the cars on the road.

I know all I'm going to hear from this post is... oooo bring your car to the track... I might if I have time one night. But I'm also not afriad to simply run on the street... I honestly don't give a shit about any trash you have to talk and I'm not going to waste a night to meet up with you at the track. But if you want to play, I live on barrett, I'll run anywhere close by.

ok, good. :D the fast friend thing was in reference to most folks having a come back about getting their buddys car and how quick it is. as for n/a supras, all the ones i see on barrett are ones that were converted to single turbo. and again, none of them will ever race. one last thing, my mustang does indeed have interior in it and rides around on 17's, nice stereo, etc. :burnout:

btw, who has NA-T conversions around here? I haven't met any. Most of the kits that people try and bolt on NAs don't provide any power to speak of. The 5spd tranny on the NAs can't hold much past 350. NA-T isn't practically in the least... unless insurance is your primary concern. They were probably talking shit... bastards giving us a bad name.

Theres about 15 nice single turbo'd supras in GA right now. Mine being probably the slowest at 503rwhp/440rwtq... but with my little PTE52 full spool at 3500rpms and a 3000stall turbo lag that everyone makes fun of regarding supras is non-existant.

Nope I can't say that about my Supra... gladly... for the money and the straight line performance I completely agree... 5.0s are close to the top of that department. Thats simply not what I was looking for. I love having something a little less common in appearance and I love to hit the mountain roads and then the track every once in a while and still have girls drool over the car. But if you could follow me in anything but a straight line I'd be impressed.

FRO, nah I wasn't at Intune. All the work on this Supra has been done out of town by Buschar Racing... yeah they actually worked on something other then a DSM. But she's in the shop right now having a built tranny installed. I've got some tuning to do with the AEM system and I've got some boost creep I've got to deal with, after that I'll be hitting the dyno again and see how much more I can pull out of the stock fuel system before its time to get the 820cc's.

The problem with high horsepower Supras is this...the owners can't drive them.

A 1,000 rwhp Supra would have no problem running 9s in the 1/4. The driver is the drawback.

hey tig, not everyone is a drag racer, and since you sound like a total performance package type supra owner, feel free to come autocross with us down at turner field parking lot. there arent many mustangs, and i have only seen a couple of supras (turns out those guys couldnt drive for squat), but the action is alot of fun.

i used to have a friendly competition with a saleen S281 owner, who was still learning how to handle that sort of power in the turns, and i would spank him with my cavalier on slicks. its alot of fun, and i wont talk tons of smack while you are there, but you can come out and show us driving skill.
