Are any of you rev heads going to Sac. on Sat the 1st? I'm going to thrash this week to get the driveshaft loop, battery relocated, and an over flow tank into my brothers 67 Malibu with a 383 and 700R4 so we can flog it for the first time. We're shooting for high-mid 12's on the Kumho street tires. he's never driven on the track before and I figure we'd break him in harshly!! He got the car in 10th grade in 94 or so as a 2 speed 283 car with drum brakes and now it's sporting aluminum heads (ported and flowed of course), an extra 100 ci and 2 extra gears. Moser(?) 12 bolts with Ford axle ends and HD posi unit and 3.73's, and Corvette Brakes. I can't wait to see his face after trying to pedal this thing through 3 gears. Nobody understands how slick the strip is until they feel it for themselves. Let me know if anybody is headed out there and what you will be driving. We can put together a few fun runs and race heads up few times! I'll check the site a couple times daily to see if anybody responds. If you haven't been to Sac on grudge night it's pretty cool. Race who you want, run as many times as you can. Tech I believe starts @ 3:00 or 4:00. If you are interested check out Sac raceways web site and get the full details. It's always fun to see someone lose their virginity @ the track!!

Doesn't anybody race legally anymore? Can't pass tech? Where are the NorCal fast cars?
