Fast Ass Supra in Town!

Daniel Willy (hope that's right) of Battlgorund Engineering here in the ATL went a 9.36 @ 148 (no nitrous) on BFG drag radials this weekend in Bristol. He was getting his NHRA liscence so he couldn't actually compete in the event. I think the car will be running at Commerce this weekend at the import event. Possibly a larger turbo or NOS looking to run in the 8's. Good luck and congrats on the pass. That's haulin ass on drag radials.

Yes, it has an automatic trans now. I don't know about the rear but I would guess that it has a solid axle now also.

he is using the bg400 auto tranny and no solid rear axle all he has done to the rear-end is swap diff.'s with an auto supra. less top-end but accelerates quicker. hopefully we'll see some of you at commerce. time to use the nitrous

yes he did do a swap to a auto-matic. i know this cause i helped put in the motor, tranny and pretty much everything else.

yea he basically shaved a second jsut by switching the tranny and diff. its a fast car and this weekend at commerce we're gonna spray and hopefully we'll be in the 8's. we are gonna be the first team to spray down the track also cause of the propane injection
