RULES
STREET LEGAL WINNERS - RULES
Street Cars Only. License tags must be current.
Must have working lights, mufflers and charging system.
No alcohol allowed – gas only – race gas OK.
Participants must pass tech inspection. Bikers need helmet, leather jacket, gloves, jeans (no shorts – no warm-up pants) & shoes covering the ankle. NHRA rules apply.
Dry burnouts or dry hops only. No water burnouts allowed.
Four-tenths pro tree electronic auto-start on a real drag racing Christmas tree.
Computer timed infrared start to finish – actual 1/8th mile drag course. – electronic finish line.
No times posted. Win light only. Win light determines the victor.
AT NO POINT DURING THE EVENT ARE THE E.T. BOARDS AT THE FINISH LINE DISPLAYING THE RACER’S TIMES.
Computer time slips are CUT IN HALF and given only to the racer IN THE CAR.
On special Grudge Races “you call the shots.”
Once race starts you “hot lap” . . . . basically, if you win you come back to the lanes IMMEDIATELY. You cannot go to the pits once the race starts. You cannot “skip a round” and advance (skipping rounds or not showing results in disqualification). If you lose you go straight to the pits. Street cars do not need cool time.
No slicks or “DOT” tire slicks permitted in Import and Domestic classes.

IMPORT CLASS – Lane 2. Radial or drag radial tires only. E.T. streets, or any other DOT style slicks not permitted. Power adders OK on radial or drag radial tires. $50 and trophy to Winner. $25 and trophy to Runner-up.
DOMESTIC CLASS – Lane 3. Radial or drag radial tires only. E.T. streets, or any other DOT style slicks not permitted. Power adders OK on radial or drag radial tires. $50 and trophy to Winner. $25 and trophy to Runner-up

SHOW & SHINE CLASS CAR SHOW – to be held in the spectator pitting area (turn left from front gate) with 1st Place trophy and 2nd Place trophy.
SPECIAL GRUDGE RACES – Custom paring in the lanes with “DROP THE FLAG” style start, negotiated car length starts and track official final call “eyeball” the finish line. Grudges run twice each night . . . racers be ready. Racers decide terms between themselves. All negotiations PRIOR to grudge
