Ok, I'm planning on firing my coupe off tonight or tommorow. Last night I was getting everything in line. I was going to bump the switch over just to see if it would try to start. Well it does nothing. Therefore,
I put a test light on the solenoid. The side that is suppose to get fire with the switch in crank position has no power. The single wire on top of the solenoid also has no power. This red/blue wire is what sends the power to the other side. I then check the clutch safety switch harness. It is suppose to have power to one side and when engaged send power to the other side out to the solenoid. Well neither side has power at any time.
I'm thinking it may be the switch itself. Is there a single wire coming out of the switch that is suppose to power the red/blue wire??
I didn't have alot of time to trace wires so I just did the obvious.
Any help would be appreciated. I can cross the solenoid over and she will spin over but I need it working by the switch. :D

there is a plug by the tranny. not the back up lights..but another plug that goes to the top of the tranny..one side has a small loop...should be the red/blue wire..if its not plugged up to the harness that goes to the top of the tranny the same prob will occur....i had this prob on my maroon car one time. hope this helps

The single red/blue wire is what pulls the solenoid in to apply power to the starter.

where the harnesses come out of the body in the tranny tunnel. one plug goes to the speedo. one to the back up lights..the other goes to the top of the tranny...in the harness that goes to the top of the tranny has a wire at the connector that makes a loop. without that harness on mine it done the same thing that ur describing. i cleaned the harness good and the loop was a red/blue wire. look at the harness if u have it off and u will see what im talking about.

Yes, Big Thanks to you. The harness wasn't even on the side of the tranny. I would have had no idea that would have fixed it. Thanks ;)
