As you may have figured out by now, the main purpose of this site is to give car enthusiasts an opportunity to meet (virtually and otherwise) like-minded folks in their own area. Unlike many other car related sites, this one doesn't focus on a particular make of car, and anyone who is into cars is welcome, whether your car is foreign or domestic.
By way of introduction, I live in Kingsport and, as my handle suggests, I have a red Viper GTS with silver stripes. The Viper has 19" HRE 545R's, all the standard bolt-ons, and maybe another thing or two. :eek: A fellow Viper owner, 1Tony, is one of the owners of this site and has graciously allowed me to moderate this corner of the forums. However, please understand you do not need a Viper or some other expensive car to be a valued member of the forum. I love all kinds of cars, and I'm just as happy talking about 'stangs, vettes, F-bodies, WRX's, etc. as Vipers. One of the cool things about this site is the interaction between owners of so many different cars and the opportunity to learn what other people in your area are driving and what they are doing to their rides.
As for moderation, this is pretty much a no holds barred forum, so I'll try not to intervene unless things get completely out of hand. If you think something needs attention, feel free to e-mail me or post about it, and I'll check into it. Otherwise, just enjoy yourself, have fun, and remember that people often say things on the internet that they never would in person, so don't take it personally.
I know for a fact that there are tons of car enthusiasts in the Tri-Cities area, so spread the word and let's get this forum jumping. If things work out like I think they will, we can use this as a jumping off point for car shows, racing, meeting new friends, and just generally sharing our passion for cars. Talk to you soon!
