well they started to build on them some , but the area is pretty damn big. I would say an easy 200 acres. alot more im sure. And since they started building car dealerships by the raod we have a paved stretch that we drag on too. its nice to get up to 4th on then hit brakes. Im taking my baby to the shop this weekend. New clutch, over size valves, bigger rev limiter, new carb (edelbrock probably) new battery, and might go ahead and get new exhaust. right now i have it bored .80 over, head ported and polished, wiseco piston w/ 12:1 compression, stage 2 hot cam, racing tranny, stage 2 jets in stock carb, DG complete exhaust (probably going to white brothers), K&N air filter "free air" and i think thats it. I have to get some slicks for it too. Im looking into the turbo for it. Nitrous just dont cut it. I ran a 7.8 in 1/8 on 50 shot. she runs strong. what do you have????

Also there is a trail that runs from sand dunes #1 to sand dunes #2 close to the dam. bout 1 mile ride next to river. MAYBE little more. But its pretty nice. Let me know if you want to come down and ride. I should have mine back in week or 2.

Cool! What kind of quad do you have? Sound like a lot of mods;)

Mine only has a hotcams stage 2 cam, FMF silencer that has been shortened and remade the core completely ( wanted one similar to that N-motion big cc pipe), custom airbox and the carb has been tuned till I got it exactly right (about 40 hours of carb tuning):D I ride mostly motocross and its got all the power i need for any of the tracks around here but its about to get a little more:D

P.S. Id like to ride the dunes, that would be cool. They are sand dunes...correct?

Ya man, they are sand dunes, some red clay parts too. I have a Honda 400 EX sport trax series . yours is the honda 450 right?? How do you like it? I thought about trading mine in, but i have soooo many mods and its paid for hahaha. Im looking for the older model Kawasaki dirt bike that has the dual shocks on the back, so i can use them shocks on front of mine when i go to track. how far are you from Columbus,GA ?

Im about 2.5 hours from Columbus.

I used to ride a 400 EX before my 450R. I still have my 400 EX but I absolutely love my 450R. Once you trade up to a 450 youll absolutely love it, I know I did. Even with a ton of mods on a 400 EX its hard to beat a 450R with a simple pipe or nothing at all. Especially the 06' models, they haul the fuckin mail. I just put an HRC kit in an 06 friday at the shop and that thing was almost amazing even compared to my beloved 05 with mods, plus it has electric start if that tickles your fancy.;)

Yuo work at Honda shop, or ATV place??? I raced one 450R when they first came out, and it was a strong bike.

I work at a Honda motorcycle/ATV dealership.

Like I said, I was sceptical at first about coming off my 400EX, but after I got a feel for the new machine, I wont even woods ride on my 400 anymore. The stock suspension on a 450 R is miles ahead of the stock and even a lot of aftermarket stuff for the 400. As far as the engine goes, its a totally different animal with totally different charactaristics. The 450 actually feels kind of like a 2 stroke to me with a lot more hit on the bottom, it just has a really hard hit on the top end;) You need to ride one.:D

As far as Honda's ATV's go, they dont really make a bad one. They are actually quite the step up form the rancher though, youll like it!;)

Ight whats up peeps. Ive had her back for month now. well its faster than a stock 450R w/o question, and a mild modded 450R as well. Thats all i have raced so far. Problem now is i need to up teeth on gear, i have no first gear basically. I start out in 2nd most of time. Buddy of mine gets his Suzuki 450 on the 28th of this month and we are gonna see how it is.
