my buddy has an 89 coupe 347,c4.its a nitrous car.it has a 1 gallon fuel cell for race gas to feed the nitrous system an msd pump and 6an line feeding 2 kits.the pump is rated at 50 psi flowing.anyways shankin said he needs to run a regulator and a return line to the fuell cell, but he said he needs to jet the return line so he will still have enough fuel pressure to feed both kits.as it is now the fuel pump builds up to 150psi or so and jeff said he would blow the intake off the car if he runs it like that.
anyone ever ran a seperate fuel system for nitrous on an efi car?any suggestions?

How much is he planning on spraying to it, and what kind of times is he wanting to run?
Why does he want to run a seperate fuel system for the nitrous anyway? I've seen it done on carb'd cars, but I don't think I've seen it on efi cars.

You can't reduce the fuel pressure with the regulator?

you need a regulator with a return line such as the mallory 3 port
and run a 3/8 to 1/2 return line back to the cell. the point of this is to keep pressure off the pump while optimizing flow.while completely stoping pressure creep that you are experianceing with the 150 psi thats much fuel pressure plus the n2o will cause catostraphic damage.
by doing this you can run 6-7 psi and jet it like a carbed car.
or run the 40-45 psi and run F.I jetting

I had one on my old efi motor. I just used a vortec t-rex with a mallory 3 port regulator. I used a -6 from the pump to the regulator then 2 -4's to my nitrous fuel lines. I used a -4 or -6 return line. I cant remember which one....
