The date might get pushed back til march. I called and talked to the new owner. They have more work to do.

I saw on their website www.knoxdragway.com that the first import night is 2/27 also.

volksvr6, did u work at the bmw dealership a while back, if so we ahve met before. I plan on attending whe n the first test'n tune is open and samck the ricers around a bit and show them what old but true power is about, :bash: are u using het stock airbox on ur vr6, if so I have a slightly used ITG air filter I will sell u for cheap. aso I have three corrade slc speedline wheels I will sell also. 15x6.5 and reasonably lite for a stock wheel. let me know

I knew aperson who knew were there was a nice one at, a 16v. but it is now gone. just keep bothering me about it and I will ask my buds when I see them next. if you're looking for a scirocco project car i will have a pretty straight and rust free shell you can have if you want to come get it, it's located in johnson city tn. it doesn't have a title and i'm going to remove some parts from it so it'll be pretty much a rolling shell. it's an 84. it would make a pretty good race car project. email me at dcidirtysouff@veedub.com if you're interested.

He said in March. A bunch of us are going to help him finish it. It being repaved, New wood on Bleachers, painting....etc. He said it is a swamp down there right now. I talked to Shay(the Owner) Tuesday. I believe it will be worth the wait. He wants to fix all the bad blood that people had with the X Owner.

wile on the VW topic, a buddy of mine is dropping an SLCs VR6 in an older Golf over this winter, should be nice once he gets it done.
