View Full Version : Fastest 50-fastest 100

We have expanded the database so we can now incorporate the 100 fastest times. I don't imagine that we will fill the list right away, but you might surprise me. The idea is to get more people involved and going to 100 should produce a lot more movement.
If you are a forum member and you ran a car/truck, or whatever in 2005, send me a pm with as much of the following information as you can, and I will make the entry.
60 ft
1/8 mile time
mph
car type (mustang, trans am, etc)
engine size
power adder (turbo, nitrous, etc)
manual or auto
Track (Dallas, Commerce, etc.)
Date if run (The month is good enough)
Your gender (m or f-if you aren't sure, just put m)
Tire used (slick, drag radial, hard tire, etc)
Tire size (28x10.5 e.g.)
The top fifty list is now all sub 7.0, but I would imagine going to the next fifty will allow a number of eights and maybe even some nines. Consequently, send your times in and lets see what we end up with.

I have updated the new list reposting anyone that had been on the old top fifty list. As you can see we are already into the 70's.
Again, if you ran in 2005 and you want to be included on the list, just send me a pm with as much information as you can.

The Swinger (Blue Dart) 1.31 60' and 5.97 @ 114 mph on 100 shot. 1.42 60' and 6.53 @ 104 on motor. (on 28x10.5 slicks)

The Scamp- 1.65 60' and a 6.85 @ 105 1/8th, and 10.61 @ 133mph 1/4. (Hard radials & 125 shot) 1.69 60' and 7.20 @ 97mph 1/8th, and 11.2 @ 120 mph (on motor & hard radials)

geezer, i sent ya a pm, but heres what you were asking:
2003 cobra. stock blower, no n2o, 6spd, 26/10.5 et street radials
at dallas, 1.66 60', 7.33 @96.1 mph on 10/29/05 right before the decklid off of a nova went through my windsheild.

ohh, it has also gone a 7.60 @ 103, with a 2.1 60' on the bottle. tires didnt like n2o.

OK, I have got the times you guys sent me today. I will update shortly. I was there when the decklid went into your windshield. Just look around for the oldest guy around and that is usually me.

yea, i wasnt happy. she will have a new hood, bumper, dash and paint in a few. and i know who you are, but we have never met. have to fix that sometime.

Looks like I will be in the low 50's slot. I will be below 50 soon.

Pretty good considering my car weighs twice what any of those other cars weigh! :D

I am just curious. Did the fellow in the Nova offer to help with the cost of your repairs? I saw that he left pretty quickly.

nope. in fact he told me "thats racing" and i didnt see him again till he was pulling out. next time i see him i would like to have a "thats racing" accedent with his car. possibly involving a baseball bat. ohh, there i go thinking out loud again....

btw, totaled up to about 4 grand in damage. the dash alone was $1500.00
