Anyone here every messed around with, or read up on using a laptop and GPS sensor for in vehicle navigation?

Looking at getting one of these (http://www.gpsexplorer.com/product.aspx?Product_ID=327&cartProduct_ID=327&action=add&src=FGL&cpn=nav_AA005104&kwd=AA005104) and Microsoft Streets & Trips to do it.

I use Microsoft Streets and trips on my laptop with Microsofts GPS sensor. It works great. I have used it all over the East Coast and I would say it has been accurate 97% of the time. I highly recommend it. It was on sale a week ago at Office Depot for $99

Yeah, checked it out after posting. Did some Googling and found it for $99 somewhere online. Ordered a convertor this morning from Amazon.com for plugging the laptop in to run from the cigarrette lighter.
