I have an Audiobahn 8002T amp and two natural sound 12's. The amp is 400x2 at 2-ohm. I also have a 4-gauge Stinger wiring kit. The question I have is this: is a 200 amp fuse too big? It is what came in the kit when I bought it but none of my friends have fuses this big. I just don't want the amp or power cable to overheat and catch my car on fire. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Jake

No, the fuse is perfectly fine. The amp will require different amperage draws at different power outputs throught the volume level. If for some reason your wire gets shorted the fuse will blow. Almost all Pro Audio Competitors use a 200 amp fuse at the battery. You want the Fuse within 8" of the battery hot post.
