I just took my wing off a few weeks ago. I think it looks bad ass. But, what do you all think?

Do what you think looks good. Sounds like you already answered your question to me.

umm....the "no paint == hardcore" only works on domestics...hehe...but I think you should keep the wing off, and put some paint on it...

Nope, haven't seen that Redline movie yet. There was one in reader's rides of SCC, Superstreet or one of those a few months ago..black with black wheels, no wing and a Do-Luck kit..very nice.

Primer is cool and all but if it were mine I'd probably have to get the outside and suspension squared away first. The car will definately look hard all black. Are you planning on a bodykit?

I pretty much got my suspension squared away, I would still like to get some trd anti roll bars, and a strut bar. I have Hks Hypermax dampers. I love them. If i get it painted, i am going to get the stillen side skirts and stillen front end. Then i would be done with the body. I wish it was already painted when i got it so i dont have to waste the money on all this shit. I like the stock look the best.

FIRST OFF, you need to get all of your steering stuff worked out. I am not talking about swaybars and suspension but the actual steering stuff, ie control arms and everything around them. Then get the motor so where it runs and you are not having problems with it. Then get the car painted. Brad will agree with me that the most fun we ever had with our cars is when they were straight up BPU. Power is cool, but it is always nice to have a really good looking car that you can take out and enjoy and that does not look like it just came out of the salvage yard. There is a reason for the wing, so think if you need it or not because of that reason and not wether or not for looks.

What do i need to do with the control arms and other stuff? Im about to put it in the shop here in a couple of weeks and get everything cheched out and stuff. And im going to get the car painted in a couple of months. Hopefully before summer.

If I remember correctly alot of your steering stuff was bent really bad where I guess it had been wrecked. When you take it in to any alignment shop, tehy willt ell you immediately what all you are going to have to replace as they will not be able to set up your alignment, camber, or caster properly until you do so.

What was bent again. I remember you telling me that it was the same thing you bent when you hit that curve. How much was it to replace it?

here's the deal, 1)go big in engine dept. 2)if u paint it black go with something a little diff like maybe house of kolor or porsche black etc. there are alot of stock toyota black sup's around town 3) if u put a wing on i think on dark cars the low bomex wing is pretty sweet. just my 2 cents

I agree with the others. Make sure the ride is safe and meets or exceeds factory specs. Don't know what color your interior is but if you can I like the dark gunmetal gray pearl. Its a new color and I think it is available from House of Color. It is so dark it appears the color of your car now but the pearl really gives it the bling!! I saw it on a Boyd Coddington creation with a tan interior and I fell in love with it. I have never seen it on another car so you will be different. Good looks with the tough as metal attitude. Good luck!

House of Color is a custom paint company. They began by making paint for west coast customs such as George Barris. You can find them on the net. There is also a shop in Knoxville that carries the line. The shop builds street rods and old school customs. You can't beat the finish. The
Supra is worth it.

I love black cars but the only thing about them is they show every little bit of dirt(yep I own a black car). I'd consider silver with the black wheels. As for the wing… looks good with or withough. I think it looks better without if you have a body kit. Theres white supra on supraforums.com that has body kit and no spoiler. It looks awsome.

duff, first handle the gsr, but please, please paint it, BECAUSE its a supra, even stock lookin and primared they are still bout as subtle as a golf shoe to the face. think about it, when a guy pulls up to u at a red light i promise you that the first thing that pops into his mind WILL NOT be "damn i bet that is a slowass hooptie!"
second, like jack said there are no more, make the one you have count, very few things look as good as a slick supra, think about stevens, mayos, chambers, all of these cars are prime examples of fine looking and running supras. do what makes you happy BUT you can look good and haul ass. just my opinion

LOL, i dont even know if it is worth the time, racing that GSR. I was going to get chambers to paint it way back in november, but i thought i could use that 6000g's else were. SO, right now i am just waiting on the money to get it painted. The only reason that i asked about the paint or the single turbo is because they are having this awesome deal right now on TurboImports.com, on a T78, AEM, and Stage 1 fuel.

TurboImports is run by MVP Motorsports, and is no longer owned by Clint. If you want a good deal on a single turbo kit, I can give you the name of a guy, but you better have the money as larry was not real happy about you cancelling on him last time. AEM tuning is a very detailed process and requires a hell of alot of money if you pay someone else to do it. The VPC/AFC combo are alot better in my honest opinion as far as ease of use.

Stephen is right about all sales go through MVP. I really got pissed about the false advertising. Go to this site and see for yourself.http://www.turboimports.com/hkstwinturki.html

I understand. I admit "Randy's Customs" are the best and have the greatest customer service. They did all Andy's work. They will continue to do Andy's work so long as we can afford it. However, If my budget was tight, there are still some other places. Randy's paint and body guys are the best I have ever seen. The work is flawless.

Ahh, Brittany, ok. Didn't know if you two were still together. I heard a nasty rumor and you and a girl named Jodi (you know who I'm talking about). Didn't know if that was true, but I hoped not so it's good to hear you and Brittany are still together.
