I'm needing a crank pulley bigger then the stock pulley for my 91 lx. I'm about to install a kenne bell on it and i need it pullied for 8-10 #'s of boost. I have a pulley to do this with a stock crank pulley but it is only 2 inches in diameter and I have read that it will do nothing but slip.

Any Ideas??

just the old kenne bell with the next step smaller pulley maid about 8 or so with stock crank pulley, eveything else was bone stock with 2.73 gears and ran 7.70's easy. it will break transmissons though if stock t5s are used. its a tq making blower on a 5.0

yeah this was my first one back in 1997. this one going on your green car? I think it would fly on 8-10 only this is whats your comp on that motor? with a good compresion ratio i dont see why it wont run into the 6 second range.

I wouldnt run any gear lower than a 373 if it were me i would run a 3.55 or 3.27

It's stock compression like 9:1. I'm gonna try to get into the 7.50's in full weight on 17 inch drag radials. Car has ZERO weight reduction.

I've talked to quite a few that have them and they don't have real impressive track #'s like what your talking about. I hope your right. The outlaw car might be in trouble lol :)

They are roughly 1/2-3/4 inch bigger. I put one on a Novi 1000 and it made about 1- 1 1/2 pounds more boost.

I guess I'll more or less just have to try it on the kenne bell to see what it will do. I have a 2 3/8 pulley for 5 #'s and I'm wanting to just add a bigger crank pulley to make around 8-10#'s.
