I need some help again. I've gotten different stories from 3 cops and don't know who to believe, here.
I installed these nice purple neons under my car under the impression from cop #1 that underglows were legal save for blue and red, colors reserved for emergency vehicles. Another cop nearby corroborated that statement, saying it was okay to have purple, even though it would probably attract attention I may not necessarily want (but since when do I care about that).
Those were both Anne Arundel County cops. I asked a Baltimore City cop today and he told me all underglows are illegal, and red and blue are especially heinous since they simulate emergency lighting.
Does anyone here know who's right, here? Have any statutes I could spill at the feet of the next cop to pull me over about my neons? :P
