450R/YFZ450/BANSHEE/Suzuki450R comparison.

Okay I need help comparing these models against each other. I need to know which one is the fastest off the showroom floor and which can be made the fastest with jet, exhaust, air filter???

I am planning on buying 1 or 2 before the end of Feb.

well first off what is your brand of choice?and second i have raaced forever and give you a little info quick.the new zuki450 is all hype.anyone who races know you are going to strip it to replace it with aftermarket everything.so why not just buy two used ready to race quads like the 450r honda or yfz.the banshee is to far outdated and cant keep up and suspension sucks.450r is quickest out of the hole but the yfz is fastest on topend factory wise.this is the last year of the banshee anyways so stay away of it.so stick with 450r honda or yfz.my opinion

Thanks a lot!!! We looked at the Honda and the YFZ this past weekend and my son is having a hard time deciding between the 2. I appreciate the input and glad that we have it narrowed down to the best 2 options.

Just my opinion...but....the 06 Honda has a helluva motor in it but can be outran by an 05 with a $120 camshaft and a $21 air filter. The 05 is also a kickstart only model that isnt hard to start at all.

My point is that you know where to buy a brand new 05 450R for around $4900;)
