Finally picked up a new project car...

At first I was just picking it up to sale and make a buck or two, but the ole lady said I could keep it after a lil persuading...:pimp:

It's just a rolling shell right now, well I wouldnt say rolling because the ball joint on the left side is toast lol...

Engine plans - Still debating on which setup to go with, she'll be ready for some call outs in(2 scf weeks)...:rofl:

I'm not for sure yet exactly, I just know i'm not going to cut any corners and get in a hurry like I did with my old hatch...RIP:(

But possibly a ls/vtec setup sleeved with a b16 head yadda yadda, small turbo...:D

Thought about a h22a...

Thought about a b18c1...

Thought about alot of things, but i've still got alot of research to do before I make my final decision on engine setup...:(

I'm going to get cracking on some suspension work first though for the time being...

some people would die if they heard this, but why not put the f22 in it? Its cheap, easy to boost, handles boost well and puts down some nice numbers. Plus it hsant been done very much.

Never really looked much into the f22's, i've got alot of reading to do though because I havent messed with one since my old hatch about 3 years ago... It was just a basic ls swap, jdm gsr tranny with itr lsd I only got to take it to the track one good time i believe and its best time was a shitty 9.5 stock and then some idiot decided to run a redlight and take her away from me...:(

I'm debating on just going with a simple engine setup and put some $$ into the suspension to play with for a lil auto-x car , because I know if I try to do something serious then I will want to street race some more and I dont need to because of the drag racing ticket I got last month.

If it was my car, which it isnt tho, I would just put an engine in it and drive it daily. Then pour the extra money into your streetbike, im assuming that you still have the ole honda.

You've got a good point... I dont need anymore hp on the bike though, its quick enough for up in the mtn's where I like playing and there's just a few more lil appearance things I will be doing to it... But the main thing with it is I wont be putting $$ into it this year, but I will be doing more trackdays which are the most fun thing in the world to do in my opinion but i've already got the track days budgeted in...

I've wanted another car to play with for a while, I just got caught up in the whole bike ordeal and was having to much fun with it but now i'm wanting another car to play with... I'm still in a toss up with what I want to do exactly with it though and it being free was a major plus too lol.

I still gotta get mine tuned and get the boost up. She almost got walked by a h22 hatch the other night. Its only hitting 13-14lbs right now. But Allmotor98gsr and Tractiondeprived both can vouche how hard it pulls up top though for only 14lbs :eek:
