I'm told on good authority that you are the man on tuning.

I finally got my not so lazy ass a job and can dump money into my car again.

This is what I've got:

'97 Cobra, long tubes (99+ BBK's - no egr provisions - would need the EGR taken out of the computer), Mac h-pipe, mac flowpath mufflers, march underdrives, 80 C&L MAF (want to get that Pro-m from you).

I think that's it (got bunches of other stuff, just nothing else motor related).

The question is this, what else do I need to get and put on before I bring it to you for the mondo tune (aside from the giggle gas or a blower).

I don't give a damn about gas mileage (I have 4.30's and am getting 4.56's - obviously don't care about gas mileage), I just want a fairly aggressive tune that can wake my car back up.

Anybody else can chime in here and help me figure this out.

Thanks in advance,

Chris (Psychoholic)

The anderson ford power pipe, port the upper intake & put a single blade t body on there. As far as tuning it. taking out the egr stuff cant be done with a chip. Only two people can do this and he will be at the dealer ship the 27th & 28th of this month. He can reburn your pcm without even using a chip.if you want to set up having your car tuned contact gary hood at team ford service.

Steeda timing adjuster if you're gonna stay N/A. With a power adder I wouldn't worry about it. Jerry is GOD when it comes to tuning stock ECU's, hell he wrote the maps for most of them from the factory.

Cool!

How much (about) is this tuning you speak of?

And is this the same dude that tunes with Chris Johnson?

I think it's $250 plus the dyno. Yes he works with Chris. This is the website.

Red99SVT has been helping me amass a list of things to do to my car, and one of the first things he suggested was to get that bitch tuned.

I know my fuel pressure regulator was shot (we had the vacuum line unplugged and capped for that last race, I think that's partially why it was running like ass (only went 13.1 @ 104 - that and it was hot as hell). I don't think I'll have the cake to get all those parts before the 27th and 28th, so I guess I"ll just start stockpiling parts. And get her tuned later.

Shit.

I just thought about something, or next race is October 5th. I guess I need to generate some capital and get some parts and some tuning.

Anybody need a website? =)
