Tonight i was at ocharleys just hangin out with arron meyers and coughorn. When i left i pulled out,got up to bout 45 or so, just normal driving, and this asshole is in my lane. It happened really quick, but i think he pulled out, not real sure if he was just fuckin cruising my lane head on or what, all i saw was damn headlights. To make a long sad story short, i dodged the human dick, and thru the car over a curb into a light pole ass first. I want to say that THIS FUCKING SUCKS ASS! The car is at randys customs awaiting an estimate (i do have full coverage). The bodykit and lowenhearts are done.:( If things turn out ok it will be more badass than ever, if not well......
Now I know that some of you could not give a bigger shit, but i want to personally thank all of the people that i know will always have my back. Jeremy B, Bub, and everyone else who called to see if i was ok. Thanx shirk for gettin out of bed and coming to the scene. Arron meyers thanx man you were right there to hook a nizzle up when he needs a hand.(i was so tore up afterwards i physically could not drive the car, arron did) Matt get ready to cash out on me cuz u got some work to do. Dad i luv ya and i dont tell ya enough, you have ALWAYS been there to help me out..... but as it stands now................here we go one more fuckin time. il keep u all posted.

It was Jason Akers car, TT auto. He wrecked going down
Kingston Pike(down in Sequoia Hills area) late one night. It had just started raining, He lost control of it thru a corner, where they had just done some repaving, and spun it into a pole.
He was used to AWD cars, he had previously owned a number of
AWD DSMs, so he hadnt quite gotten used to the whole RWD thing.
He has sold it, quite some time ago.
The catch.... it wasnt insured, so it has a clean title if it is ever put back together.

The Supra is not dead. For those that did not understand me
THE SUPRA IS NOT DEAD

Yes it is scrached. But lets take my view of the car.

The seats did their job. They secured the driver during the tramatic event. The body kit, provided crush zones which protected the body of the car and more especially the driver. The wheels and tires withstood the impact and did not fail( ie: they drove home) The exhaust took a beaten but remained intact. The car itself survived, the body survived. and most important, the driver survived. McDaddy Point: Build it right, build it solid, build it to survive. Quality parts, Quality work = Quality life. Supras were designed to be race cars. Look at the above pictures. He did walk away right.

Trust me! The Supra will be back.!

Dave 2, he scared the living shit out of me that night. At least on the Dragon he said, Dad, we were showing our asses. This time he was not and could have been hit head on. Thats the only thing about the Supra's that bothers me, they are so low. At least they have a long hood before the drivers capsule.

Yeah luckily he was paying attention instead of watching tv.The cars are low but most cars these days are.Of course one good thing about it being the supra instead of the explorer is the explorer might not have handled as well and he might have hit head on instead of the ass end.

Yeah, he did evetually. Like i said he was in the hospital for a while, but he is living a normal life for the most part. Since the accident comprimised the passenger compartment, driver side no less, his injuries were somewhat severe. But he did live through it, and again owns an AWD DSM(92 Laser I believe)

Jason woke up in the hospital and DID NOT walk away from that wreck. I will say a supra is a pretty sturdy car though.

I am glad Jason survived. I knew he was hurt but not to that extent. I am still very, very impressed with the design of the Supra, its abilities, and almost how they were built with modification in mind. I watch a lot of Speedvision and I still see a lot of Supra's running in their class. Like I have said before, I never knew they existed until Andy showed me one at NOPI several years ago. I've grown a little attached to them now and can spot then where ever I go, and if you are not in Knoxville, you rarely, rarely see one.

My friend Howard rolled his 95 Supra TT a few years back, 7 times while go through the twisties of his hometown in WV. He came out without a scratch. He ended up buying another Supra after that one was totaled.

While I like the Blitz look, it is really old school.

Rear fenders would be ok if they didn't have those huge rear vents, it's a little too extreme with the vents for a street car.

The TRD kit just accentuates the car so well, and IMO, it sorta "completes" the car should you ever sell it. It will be more appealing to buyers.

I BELIEVE Kevin sold that car for around $55k. As for the fitment of that kit, I thought it looked nice from a distance but you could almost stick your hand through the gap in the hood and side fenders. I am honestly not sure if Kevin was ever totally happy with all the money he spent on that widebody and having it put on.

and 19x13s is what you need in the rear.

AND buy the kit from Mani if you decide on that one. The key would be to have a custom wide body kit done, so handle it.

The only part wrong on Kevin's car was the fitment of the hood which gave gaps between the fenders.

It also peaked up in one corner.
But my friend Howard who has the genuine TRD hood, also has fitment problems with the hood peaking in one corner.

Personally I think the gaps could have been closed up if they played with the mounting of that fender a little more.

Other than the hood, the kit is flawless. I spent several hours cleaning that thing from every angle just about. I'm a pretty picky person and notice small details/imperfections.

Damnit I knew I should have studied for those medical test. I will be going next week to have more. The good news is with a head to toe scan they did not find the "C". Bad news is I have torn something somehow. Now we got to find out what and fix it. I hate it when they say " we will discuss therapy" thats Doctor talk for " we gonna cut your ass wide open". If you are looking for the replica TRD kit still, Mani from Drift-Motorsports is the only person in the USA who can get them in from his contact at TRD Technocraft in Japan.

However GTP/Importfan has been trying to make replicas of a replica, their TRD knockoff kit is cheaper, but the fiberglass is very thin, and their parts don't fit well for anyone in the Honda/Acura market.

$4,500 is going to be the best price you'll find for a kit that came in from Mani.

OK Guys, the Doctor called today and I have to have two more medical test next week on Monday and Wed. at Mission St. Joseph Hospital. They suspect I have torn something loose and caused the infection. ( I just can't help playing like a kid) Any way the test don't sound like much fun but we"ll get through it. I will let everyone know as I do. When this shit is over and fixed, the Party is on McDaddy to celebrate. By the way, got word today the Supra will be fixed, stand by for things to come.
