If I were still stateside I would have taken TuffEnuff's offer. Last time I was up on hwy100 the only races I could scare up were bikes and a GN...sure the import guys ran their mouths all night about going from a 75mph roll :rolleyes: but when I called them on it they "had somewhere to go". Until I blew my converter to bits racing a GSX...then they were all ready to race. The days of tower ave are over and I think almost all the real car guys died with it. Sad that flatlanders have to come up and put the smack down for Milwaukee car guys.

I probably spent more time on 100 and tower each year than you have in your whole life. You have a Supra...nice car, but make no mistake they are not the end all in street cars. Maybe a handful are single digit cars...the last time I cruised 100 it was me and one other guy (1 Mustang, 1 Camaro) both were VERY capable of single digits. So it is very depressing to see some knucklehead from IL piping off and finding no takers.
And from what I have seen 99% of import guys are all mouth...no action. I will give the wankel crowd some respect though...anyone in a rotary powered Frankenstein Toyota that is willing to tangle with a big tire car has balls.
