HELP PLEASE

i have a 89 honda crx si with a b18a swap. my car just started doing this tonight. i hit my brakes and the door light comes on in the dash but my brake lights dont work. i cant figure it out! any help would be great.

sounds like you simply just swaped some wires around or something has a cross short.
