Today I competed in my first autocross with the rest of the TRM team. The event was held at an abandon airport runway system in Columbus Indiana. It was a really big course with sections where I could get into 3rd gear a little bit. I had a really great time. The event was a SCCA Solo II and I competed in the ESP class. My best time was 57.7 with no cones and a 54.5 with 2 cones. The fastest time of the day was a 41 i believe. After the day was over we went with a Rose Alumni to his work to check out the prototype Ford GT40 they have for doing some design work on. Those are some beautiful cars. It was a really fun day and I suggest any of you who havent ever competed in an autocross before to go out and try it. I know I'm gonna be doing it again next saturday.
