Anyone want to get a ride up.The Knox crew is wanting to maybe get a ride together before the weather is againist us.Maybe the Dragon's tail?Caegle Mtn?Any suggestions?

Have you seen any other heavy cruiser that's completely stock, not even lowered, that can run 6.90's @101? Could be the rider though too, ya think?

yeah I knew that and that's why I mentioned it. No..I'm not much for top end yet..................I think Chilly and I are gonna put together a Busa for next year........for shootouts and maybe maxton. It's gonna be a 60" bike, but non turbo/ nitrous. Just lots of displacement.

I was reading on the Bus board,about a 1650cc kit?:rolleyes: Surely there's not one that big...Is there?
I haven't heard of one. I don't want to go quite that radical. Just something to play with. There are more and more tracks hosting shootouts and they are opening up more classes where we can be competitive. The Prostar Outlaw Series takes about 100k just to begin to be a threat. The 60" class is getting more in line with our type racing program.

Oh yeah, had to hit me there huh? well I think I'll keep the Yamaha around just to surprise a few insuspecting Zook riders. That's the good thing about that bike...............no one really expects to much at first glance, but that second look.you know the one where all you see is tail lights. That get's some attention.

you know what I'm talking about..........that's why mean green is still in your garage. Most don't give it a thought until they line up next to it, then after they they gain a new respect for it. Others you can beat senseless and they still won't admit to losing..........

Kidding aside.I have seen ZX-12's and 'Busa's here that would be thrilled to get a 6.70.....................can't be the bike. I've ridden 'em.....................and gone low '20's.
Dunno, maybe track conditions LSTC that limited sensory throttle commands........It means you wanna twist that baby, but you ain't got enough balls to over ride what you mind is telling your wrist to do. :(

I have seen them also and was like WTF?Your probably right though..Gotta be the rider....I know there is not much done to Dan's 12 and it fly's and Worm's busa down here has just slip on's and has run low 20's so it has to be the rider....Although Jr got OWNED by a "stock" zx12 on the mtn....Maybe he will tell ya about it..:)
