So is Twiggs under another new management or is this still the same "new" managers?
Anyone? I see a lot of TNT days in their schedule and very few events?

will i wish the same thing Shae, but i dont see anything changing
Nathinal did even show up sunday.i had racers ring my phone off the hook sunday and tonight all i can tell them is his phone number, and here it is if anyone wants to call for the schedule
478-288-2477 there isnt a phone at the track anymore they cut it off he told the guys no more racing until the first weekend in august.but then you can never tell about that guy.........
i think it might change hands again soon...but who knows.
i dont work there anymore, ive been gone for about a month now he and i couldnt see eye to eye on alot of issues, personal and safety reasons. so i have stepped down .they dont even have anyone that can run a race or the web site but he says he dosent need anyone he can do it all.........so we will see!!
if you go be safe and stay out of the left lane, just ask kenny accers souther truck parts, randy weaver, and mike hill thats about 250.000 destroyed in the left side this year....... there is more but i want go into all that, it just a shame 5 1/2 yrs. down the drain. but i did meet alot of good people and some real jerk off but thats just the job......
just my thoughts..... you guys give me a call some times..Jimmy

I don't see the need in driving 2 hours to check to see if they decide to open the track or not. WTF would they have a schedule posted if they are not going to be open? Oh well been there, done that!
Ya know if that track ever had anyone that knew what they were doing to run it worth a damn it would do a shit load of business.

This past Saturday my dad was hell bent on going over to Steele to race. Even with the rain clearly on the radar and headed towards the track, he goes, "well, we're already loaded up, let's ride over there...it'll probably just blow over or clear up."
Yeah, that didn't happen. A nice shower set in and they finally called the races before they ever opened the gate. Driving almost 2 hours and coming right back towing a race car is not my idea of a fun Saturday.

there is nothing wrong with the left lane at Macon that i see. we toted the tires every pass in it and it was the fastest qualified lane in the heat on Saturday of the Outlaw race. nothing against Mike Hill and his car, but his wreck was all on him. he is a damn good driver but he was trying to not lose the race and didn't want to get out of the throttle. he just kept getting in and out of the gas and kept him going back and forth. finally ended up face first into the wall, it barely did any damage to his car. it was fixed 4 days later for the Atlanta race and looked great. only cosmetic fiberglass work.
