Yea Knoxville people come on!
Maybe we all could do a little street/stip racing after the event.
Either at Checkers in east ridge for the street or at Brainerd for the strip.
How long before you guys do another trip down the Dragon? I got some little 275/35/18's I need to break in.
Uh, is that the kid from the MAN SHOW?

Hey Man,
You can have heads/head,cam,intake stroker and be NA hp.I know the imports have all the same goodies the old Iron does.
Besides it is a good chance to see what you have before you mod the car or what mods have done for your car.

All are welcome to watch regardless if you pull or not!
Let me know what you pay for 3 pulls with no wide ban O2 sensor and what you pay for 3 pulls with the wide ban O2.
The next closest place in price is in ATLANTA and it is $50 without WIDEBAN O2 and NO FOOD.
Just went to a dyno meet 2 weekends ago, 3 pulls with wideband for $50......

It would be nice to know what the prizes are. What is the highest hp car you expect to be there? Nice to see some cars put down some big numbers.

This is Intune's frist Dyno Competition,Nobody has any Idea how many cars are going to be there or what kind of hp numbers everbody will be putting down.
Scott has been talking about giving a prize for the car with the best peak acceleration of the day.

The dyno is located off of Dutchtown Road in west Knoxville. It's really close to the Lovell Rd. exit off I-40.And since i'm the operator (sadly not owner) you can set up an appointment with me here, or call me at the shop after about 12:00 weekdays at 777-DYNO.

for a group, we might even be able to bring it down some more, (especially on a Sunday) but in general, a group is $50 (per person) with wideband for 3 pull in a row, little to no tune time in between.
LT99LS1
02-27-2003, 11:13 PM
That's a good price. Intune is doing $60 for three pulls with wideband on the dyno day.
What make and model dyno are you guys using? What about the wideband?
PizzaGuy
02-28-2003, 07:55 AM
It's a Dynojet. The wideband is too, so you get a print out on your chart of air / fuel. yeah, we usually cahrge 70 fo the wideband, but groups are always cheaper.
LT99LS1
02-28-2003, 11:01 AM
Are you guys going to have free food and drinks on your dyno day?
I would not mind coming up and joining in.
PizzaGuy
02-28-2003, 11:14 AM
I hadn't thought about food. If we do a dyno day, it'll just be me doing it, the owner really doesn't care, just as long as he gets his money. So and "free" food and drink would come from me, not him. But it's something i'll think about.
LT99LS1
02-28-2003, 11:21 AM
You guys should come down for the Dyno Day at InTune do some pulls and have some free food and drinks.
PizzaGuy
02-28-2003, 11:52 AM
well if free food is going to be the deciding factor, then you all better go to InTune....

i would like to see a few of you import guys come down for this.
i dont think there has ever been a high horse import on intunes dyno. roy tried but his car was acting up the whole time. i mean if you dont feel like paying 60 and your car is already tuned, just pay the 10 and make one pull. hope to see alot of you guys down here. its not even really that far from knox.

Easy there Djvkm3,
I am just trying to get some Knoxville people to come down to the Dyno Day at Intune(Reason for the Thread). You don't even have to make a pull to hang out,eat and meet some of the Chattanooga,Cleveland and Dalton folks. Then maybe we all can go to the strip and race or do some street racing later.
Everbody is welcome

what car? the 3000gt TT? have you changed the plugs, plug wires, and fuel filter? all three of these are part of regular maintanence that a lot of people overlook and all three can lead to skipping/missing if not changed regularly. plugs are a BITCH to change on 3000gt's, you have to take off the whole damn intake.
SpeedAngel
03-04-2003, 07:14 PM
Yeah,I just got new plugs put on her 2 weeks ago! We also cleaned out my fuel tank and all that other good shit. I don't know what the hell is wrong with it. I just got her back a month ago from my grandfather and he said she was running great! 2 weeks later she gets sick on me. Very irritating:raging:
