What's up Stephen? I'm from Logan and good friends with Roy Evans and Mikey Lewis. I'm living in the ATL now. I was at Clay City once when you were in the Z. At the time I had a Supercharged white 99GT. I also remember the 4th of July when you guys came over to race and Mikey put it on yall in the Civic. I'll see you at Brainerd for the charity race. I've heard that you have a nasty Supra and look forward to seeing it run. Peace.....

Yea I guess its all about being ready. That night was nothing more than learning my lesson on being prepared. Witch obviously I wasent and unfortunatly took those guys for granted with a car I dident know alote about at the time. The next week we got the car dialed in for what it was and went 11.41@122mph which would've covered anybody down there that night. O'well I guess It sucks learning the hard way huh!!!!
I've talked to Roy quite a bit latly since I've moved back to this area and the street racing's not to bad. Tell ya the truth I think he's puposed to race a 68 Camaro tonight. As far as Mike goes. He went up to a Battle of the Imports event with us in chicago in sept of 2000 when we broke that little record for stock twins(10.93@124mph) and bro I havent heard or laid eyes on that guy since he left the track that day. I've tried asking around about him and know one I know has his #. The only thing I've herd is that he's married and has a kid and I think he working in the mines w/his father.
As far as the Supra goes I just put the thing back together and really havent done any shake down runs so its hard to tell whats gonna happen. But Roy told me that 4g63 you got is running pretty damn good. Anyway I got a run, We'll make plans and meet up down there.

Yeah my car is pretty fast but I have a hard time keeping it running, too much power for the driveline. I just bolted on the new turbo last night and plan to dyno it tonight. I'm going to a race on Sunday looking to run some low 10's or possibly high 9's but I'll be happy if the car makes it out in one piece.:D

Damn Jeremy its sounds like your gonna be movin pretty good. If you dont mind me asking what turbo are you running? There are quite a few just resently poping out of the wood works in the lexington-louisville area that run very well. One AWD just went 10.98@135mph and this one guy just had Buscher build him a 4g63 for his conquest (now dont get me wrong its a 2500lbs race car) with a powerglide behind it but last week he blew the tires off with only a 2.0 60-foot and still went 9.87 @ 152mph.It sucks for me cause I gotta run aginst that guy but he should be in the low nines easy if that car starts to 60-foot. Anyway get back to me and let me know what that beast threw down.

I went 10.62 @130.80 (1.61, 60') with an internally gated BR580. That was without nitrous and 2,980 lbs with driver. I have been 1.54 60's on several occasions at the 1/8 mile tracks. The DSM you are talking about belongs to Eric Gash, I think. He uses a PTE T3/T4 SC61 and nitrous. The new turbo is similar to the SC61 but has the GT35 turbine wheel. I'll let you know how it goes. I'm still waiting on FedEx to show up with the flange for the oil feed line. Check out my web site I have some pics of the new turbo.

Dude thats pretty Damn impressive for a little internal gated turbo like that. I'll tell ya what, I put together this silver single turbo supra about 2-1/2 years ago for a friend of mine in lexington that we raced for about a year or so and it had a t-62 VPC,GCC, 82lbs injectors, RPS Clutch etc, etc. Well we put down 630rwhp and 633rfpt and the best we ran with that set-up was 10.67@ 130mph and Bro we herd about this street racing happening on the west virgina side going towards huntington. Jeremy im not to far off when I say there were at least 900 people down there watching. We ended up running a late 70's Oldsmoble with a 455ci motor and a 300shot of Spray and that thing gave us one hell of a run. I mean it got out on us about 2-1/2 cars out of the hole and when we stopped blowing the slicks off middle of third gear I charged around it about 10mph.It was kinda crazy to say the least but the next time you roll in you should bring the eclipse w/you cause im sure you'd have a ball with some of jokers around here.
