Hey man, you ever around the atlanta area to do some racing. You seem pretty active on the board and I saw that you were from around Atlanta, or are you always going towards chatt. for racing too? I know a couple of cars that would like to try you out. I think there's a black mustang that's stock with a turbo kit around here wanting to put a whipping on ya.

Roy is from Dalton...alot closer to Chattanooga than Atlanta but he goes to Atlanta from time to time I think. By the way...a STOCK mustang with a turbo?? Sorry but Id have to give that race to Roy...Dont think a stock stang could handle to much boost before blowin up like the world trade?

yeah man, it's got 110,000 miles on the stock block, crank, rods, pistons, heads, cam, etc. I think the two would make for a good 1/8 mile run.

If your serious about it being stock and not just bullshitting to get a race then I will definatly put all my money on the 7. :bash:

Roy has a friend in the Atlanta area that runs two turbo's on a stock Mustang. I saw it at the Christmas race.

I'm very serious. It even has stock 110,000 mile stock stamped steel rocker arms on the stock E7 heads, stock clutch fan, etc. I think roy the 7 could get him up top but I would love to see the two go at it 1/8 mile.

yeah, his name is matt, I know they're friends. I would love to see those 2 go at it 1/8 mile. the mustang just needed a few tuning/mass air issues worked out and to be driven a little harder and things should get interesting.

i don't know that I'd put any money on it just yet, in the rx-7's defense, it has been a bit quicker than the stang already.

I would love to try him out. However, it will be after the middle of March before I'm back in the Atlanta area. Who is he? Who are you? :) Matt is a good guy and his car is awesome!

Barry or is it mustang23lx are you talking trash again . You change your screen name too much.
Ok Boys if this is indeed Barry D. His car is bad ass. It's the same turbo kit as mine, but with a built engine, heads, cam, ect. It is fast as hell.
And I am officially calling ROY out for an 1/8 mile raced at Steele, well hell I'll race him in the 1/4 too  Looser buys the beer for later after the race. Well for Roy it will be during the race

b/c he can't keep a clutch in that damn supra. there are a lot of nice supras around here but none of them have actually put down a decent 1/4 mile time. We won't even talk about 1/8 mile times but the 1/4 at least gives them a little chance to get going and still none have put down anything decent. None-the-less I'd still love to have a car like those supras b/c they look nice and do run good once they get going. Most the times floating around here about those cars are getting faster each time someone tells it to another person. For instance, Larry ran 11.30's at 123 and it was up to 10.50's at 136 last time I heard the story so I always have to set these guys straight. :D :)

What's up, Barry? Is this the Mustang you're talking about...

Looks sweet!
Yeah, stories seem to get bent out of shape the more times they are told! :) Larry has ran a best so far of 11.1x @ 131 mph. If he could get the car to hook, 10s are evident. He's making some changes now. Can't wait until he runs again! :)

damnit roy, yeah that's the one. Don't worry, as it looks in the picture, it's all show and no go. It's just a tire spinner...makes for cool home videos though.
11.1 @ 131 is definitely the mph to easily go 10's and I would think he would seeing as how the car has an auto, I'd just put that thing on the transbrake and leave hard as hell and be done with it. His car looks awesome though, I've seen it at a few shows and talked with him numerous times.
Anyways, I figured my screen name was appropriate seeing as how my car sounds about like a 4 cylinder and all...i'm serious. So when you going to bring that RX-7 over my way. I saw one out a few weeks back that I thought for sure was you but it had different wheels so I figured it wasn't.

Was it riding on stock rims? If so, it was probably me. :) I'm running them right now and I was in that area a couple of days ago.

this was a few weeks ago actually, it had some sort of 17" wheel I think. It may have been a 5 star type of wheel. It was the same color and bodystyle as yours so I dunno. We were riding around with my buddies 408 and were looking for some action and I saw it and thought it was you and was thinking, I know that guy will race us, if he's not scared away by the shaking car with C16 in it. I then noticed it had different type wheels though. So I dunno who it was.

I am really surprised no one saw my calling out  I guess I will have to post it in a new thread.

Just make a new thread about your calling out since they must have missed it.
As far as my car goes, it's slow as ever, it's just prettier now.
Actually it's slower now b/c it had twisted wedge heads on it and I put the stock ones back on it so that lost a ton right there but it runs good for what it is (that's what i like to think anyways). I only run 7#'s of boost anyways.
