I never have yet, I know a couple people from town who are really into it, it sounds like a good time and I might have to try it this summer.

what town do u live in evan??? how far from the weyauwega/fremont area???? don't tell me to much good cause u are teasing me to move back there instead of here. also is import racing very popular over there. over is the a bunch of dum ricers??

I live in plover, which is pretty much stevens point, the two towns are the same. Its about 20 min from fremond/weyweuga. During the summer the street racing scene is pretty cool. Theres a bunch of us who end up hanging out in the downtown parking lots. There really arent too many ricers here, there are a couple but theres a couple everywhere you go. Overall the scene here is pretty cool. Everyone knows everyone and its a good time. I hope that wasnt tooo tempting ;)

so then most of them are into real performance???, and not the preppy little posers that like to look like a race car and be slower than crap. I love getting those ricers on the highways and interstates here with my oldskool 80s car:D
then It is sounding like it might be a better idea than I though to move over there:cool:

yeah most everyone is into real performance. then we get some idiots with their stupid vettes j/k eric, I know what you got under the hood  The ricers around here live up in wausau, about a half hour from here, it was a lot of fun to go up there with my 85 NA 300zx and beat them  1st gen power. It'd be cool if you moved here, the more people the better.

If I moved I would like to race on a professional level I.E. scca racing and do some tuning on the clock at the drag strips. are there any dragstrip where imports GTG at??? I like street racing, but racing against the clock at the track better. have u run ur car in the 1/8 or 1/4. I manged to get a 10.74 the second week I that I ran my old car, 6 days before it was hit and totaled by a careless idiot. pretty good consider minimal eng mods and almost 200kmi on a 88 spec car. here is a old pic of my recent replacementhttp://www.imolas4.com/hwb2002/images/DSCN4098.jpg mods include, but aren't limited to: B&G coilovers, front and rear strut braces, european cam, customed geared trans with quaife lsd, adj cam gear, hd motor mts, short shift kit, header pipe back exhaust(has no cat:D ) timing onboth cam and dist has been bumped for optimum performance. so tell me more about he racing scene in WI, there are alot of curvy and windy roads here, nothing like WI

Easy now, I never said you were all ricers. You can't deny the fact that there are civics with wire wheels that stick out past the fenders up there though. I'll give you a shot next summer.

jwoller44,
if your the guy with the camaro and has a friend that brag's about your car running low 12's, than i beat you already, i think it was like 8 or more cars.but if not i'll give you a run in the summer, my car is very SLOW. It's only a supra.

To your question austin, I'm not the guy to talk to about scca racing cause I have never done it. There quite a few people here who auto-x their cars all over the state every weekend. They even hold ice races during the winter. There are a couple of drag strips a few hours away. I plan on going to them a lot more often this coming season.

jwoller44,
Dude i don't think your a ricer, you own a Talon and a very true muscle car, and i respect that. Camaro's are always a true muscle car. And DSM are always respected by me.

Yes I agree, no one ever called him a ricer. Makes me wonder why he's so defensive, and why he spelled my name wrong.
Oh well

to many stupid things that could only happen in a place such as tennessee. I should have learned my lesson the first time from before. I moved back to WI in 97 then back to TN a year later. not a good long term decision. I lost alot of opportunitys by moving away.

I hjave super strong intentions of doing it. I have just graduated from college wit ha degreee in electronics engineering technology. and now I want to get a degree in mechanical engineering. and I don't want to go to a college here anymore. I miss the old life that I had when I was in High School in wisconsin the year of 97. I am just not a tenn esseein and I can't be made into one, allthough I have some cool friends here, TN is just not for me. and there is more job opportunity for me over in WI than here, and I have distant family background from the 1800s over there. I feel that my life in TN has reached a dead end point.

Well I think if you do move back the people here will make you feel more than welcome.

I really liked the change for hte good when I moved there the first time. but I got sick with a very severe case of hte stupids. don't get me wrong, I have meet some very cool people her e in TN, but it just isn't for me, and I feel to out of place, and feel I could make much more out of my life if I moved over there vs staying here
