Draggin' For Toys is an annual charity race event that was first ran in 2002. The proceeds that are raised include both money and toys. The monetary portion is given to T.C. Thompson's Children's Hospital. The toys are split between Providence Ministries, Inc. and another chosen nonprofit organization providing services to the needy.
The coordinators and sponsors of this event include a large body of race enthusiasts in this local area; many of the enthusiasts' residencies cross state lines - into Alabama, Florida and Georgia. We have experienced consistant growth each year. We hope this tradition continues.
