Anyone going? Plowboy? Probably will be crowded but i want to get a few baseline runs with the nitrous.

I got a grudge run against the fastest honda civic in Georgia too. Best of 3 for the Yearone grudge money.

I want to DSM-LX but I'm waiting on a new radiator for my car. Temp. outside is getting cooler but my car just keeps getting hotter. But you go get'em man. I'll try to get there if you see me come over a say hi.

sorry DSM_lx the Grudge money will be mine. I won it twice two weeks ago. 1 for the best ET and 1 for the Highest trap speed. I need the money to get my suspension setup so my 60-foot times will get better. It's mine, It's mine, it's mine...muh..haha!

You might have your hands full, the honda is really quick (if it is the white one) but he is way inconsistant. Come find me and my dad. I want a piece of that DSM :D

Its not money but gift certificates from Yearone. I believe its $50 for best et,50 for best mph,and 50 for best reaction time. Trinh, my buddy with the white civic has won like 250 worth of stuff from them. One time he won all three.

They run the Year one power hour starting at 9. The supposed rules are street cars only and tires must be dot approved (I'm not sure if this rule is enforced though....maybe turbo matt can comment)

Mustang23lx Well they kicked me off the track last week for not having a roll bar, but bring it up there if you are feeling froggy :eek: ;). Your 10.47 shouldn't be a problem

Minimal safty gear (helmet, rollbar, 5 point harness)
anywho: It's $50 dollars for best et or fastest trap speed or fastest reaction time. I had the fastest trap speed and et.

Yes DSM_LX is correct DOT approved tires. I won it two weeks ago because the honda didn't show up.

lol, i went 10.731 not 10.47....looking for mid 10's though once i get my 60' back in the neighborhood of where i had it or possibly a little faster. i don't have a d/s safety loop, helment, or 5 point harnesses but that's not a big deal...i could figure something out to get it by.

No Barry you just go to that POS Dallas track or is it Paradise I can't remember. I do not have a line lock and kept rolling out of the beams (Christmas race last year).

lol, you were at paradise for the christmas race when that happened...i've never raced there. for tracks like that though, i've never had a problem (been at several tracks where the car can roll out), you just have to slightly ride the clutch or hold the e-brake with the button in (my preference).

Heheh...i think hes going to buy a lot of nitrous with all those gift certificates. I guess i won't be eligible for the money since i have slicks but i want to get in a few good races with the white turbo civic from hell.

I think the time you were there was the last time they just ran 2 lanes for the grudge stuff. They now run all the lanes equally for the grudge hour.

I do agree that commerce sucks though if you want to make a lot of passes.

DS safety loop not a big deal, but they told me I was done for the evening because I did not have a fire Jacket, 5 point harness, and a rollbar. I told them I had a helmet and I do not usually run this fast, he just laughed and said "RIGHT!!". Bastard, I went to the tower and told them I was doing some tuning and asked them if I just let out of it at the end if they would let me continue! They said ok and the rest is history!!

The track was has been prepared pretty good the last times I have been up there. Certainly not like it is on a special weekend, but not bad none the less.

oh, i don't have a fire jacket either, or the right wheel studs, safety loop, helment, harnesses, etc. oh well. conrad, just get some e/t streets, they pretty much do just as good.

That white civic has about 590hp, prettyimpressive for a 4-cylinder even if it is a Honda. The guy that tunes the honda did the tuning on my car.

585 rwhp to be exact. Its gone a best of 10.79 and 139 mph in the 1/4 mile. When he puts his etstreets on though it really slows the car down (11.7s) because they are 26s and there isn't as much sidewall compared to his 24 inch slicks on 13 inch wheels.

Well here is my story with Commerce, THEY ARE WAY TO STRICT
1. way too strict just to even get through tech
2. WAYYYYY toooooo much rice and wannabees
3. hell some cars break 11.99 basically from the factory
They told me, after I talked my way through tech, that my car left too violent (if they could only see it now) and that I needed more saftey equip and I never went into the 11's, hell the car never came out of 1st gear (shifter cable probs), so I got back in line, did an 1/8mi pass and shut it down, brake lights and all, and went 12.34@69mph, them m'fers kicked me out and treated me as if I just went 7.50's in 1/4 with no cage, thats some BS and just my 2 cents but with the talkback and all the shit was said my car wasnt allowed back until cage was installed and as the one guy said he didnt care and if it was up to him me or my car would never be allowed back cage or not.
Well just to piss them off, I might paint the car and die my hair and go back next year cause it is a little faster now!
Go somewhere else and represent some of the tracks that represent us! Streets are even better!
