Point being....if a small group of "enthusiasts" want to buy/sell a certain car for enormous ass prices then its not a huge deal, because both sides are willing to pay/accept the same ripoff price.

And for the record, I don't condone the ridiculous prices of MKIV's, or else I'd be driving one-and hopefully by the time I graduate and am ready to consider another car, I can afford an MKIV, cause I've loved them since 1993, just like I've loved MKIII's since I was 10 and my dad got one. I don't think most intelligent, reasonable car enthusiasts would deny that the Supra is a damn nice car, but that doesn't mean everyone who likes them would pay anything to get one-but they can still like them all day long.

Thats okay, my buick is a piece of crap.

The buick is a real piece of shit. It needs CV joints, struts, radio works but the speakers only work on one side of the car, it has dual power seats but the driver seat mount is broke and rocks back and forth, needs alignment bad, it leaks oil, the power window on the passenger side goes down only half way and the tanny cooler line broke in the winter so I stuck a screw in it to keep it from leaking. Did I mention it has 208k miles?

The good news is it starts everyday, doesn't smoke and has super cold ac. If I'm lucky I can trade it for a Rx7 or something.

See, that'd be a tough decision for me. I'd pay 11k for a decent mileage MKIV-that would probably be more "logical" to me, but that's just me. Of course, at that price, it'd more than likely be no newer than a 95 and undoubtably a NA, and probably an automatic as well-so basically, I'd be buying a different looking SC (in my eyes). But the things that'd probably sway me towards the Supra are the fact that it has a backseat, whether it's useful or not-it's there, the engine bay of a NA is WAY more accesible than a Z, NA or (especially) TT, and I've had good experiences with Toyotas, especially Toyota I6's. Plus the rarity factor, although a "mint condition" TTZ is probably just as rare as a MKIV...Again, all just personal preference really. :nod:
