Well Mike said drop you guys a line...We went a 4.81.... but on the second pass, Mike bumped the jets up even more and we hurt a piston...Called to try and get another custom piston made...They said we were looking at two weeks..So it looks like we are in the same boat Glenn was..We cant defend the title this saturday....Mike said looks like the T-BIRD dodged a bullet..

Yeah I still have it ! I have other hobbies and racing is sort of on the back burner for me right now. It will be out again soon ..... I have some work that needs to be done on it before it goes down the track. I have been invited several times this year to go racing with Jim Sweet and also the Ripley's ..... I told them maybe this next year .
I have been trying to get into the Car Show thing some . Now all I lack is a car ! LMAO

i like going to car shows but i don't have anything that is show quality, i guess torino parts are probably hard to find like maverick parts,but i did find a couple people who has old ford parts, if you need any help finding any let me know maybe i can help,there is a big car show this weekend in allardt at the pumpkin festival, if interested there is alot to do for the family, my wife and little girl really enjoyed it last year,, alot of cars, old tractors, motorcycles,crafts ,parade and plenty of good food it starts at 9am saturday and sunday, they shut the town down ,it is one of the biggest show in the area at the four way in allardt 5 miles from jamestown you will enjoy it:nod:

I will be there ! I saw the advertisment in the newspaper and thought it might be worth checking out . I don't have anything Show quality either . I am working on getting something... a fixer upper ...not something fully restored ! I don't want a trailer queen ..... I want something nice ..... but something I can drive also.

Well you do the math.Motor makes a little over 700HP..1st stage 350HP..2nd stage 250 to 275HP..2550lb car..And the 5.40 you keep talking about must be the pass when we ran the twin turbo nova..He red lighted and Mike let out before the finish line..plus we never lit up the second stage on that pass...

Just wanna say Glenn did a great job of driving that night,
I took off in second gear at idle on foot brake and was on a stock block. because of the block, I only sprayed 150. The car also had a T400 with a loose converter. Driver's make mistakes sometimes.
Alot has changed sense then.
Glide, Converter, Block and a hole lot of bottle. The car has got alot faster.
The engine broke because of the tune up I put in it.
But she will be back.

I'll come down and say hello if you guys are there Saturday.
