Stopped by KarKare last night for a few minutes and on the way happened to pass a few cars on their way to the interstate to do a little comparison testing. Any results from that?

I was told the corvette spanked the hell out of the trans am the first time... I was also told there was a lot of smoke coming from the trans am due it running rich but someone said the trans am was running nitrous. Then they ran again and the trans am stayed up alittle more but the corvette still came out the winner.

Well they only ran one time and yes the vette did win. Went from a 25 roll. Off the hit the vette jumped about 4 cars due to the TA spinning. Vette pulled out to about 5 cars with the TA pulling about 1 back before we shut down around 160mph. Vette got the win at about 4 car lenghts. Good race with a couple fast cars. props go to the drivers for keeping it fun and no BS.

No doubt. However, the "9.2 second turbo SC300 vs. the 9.8 second 240SX" was a real edge of seat-er in itself. :rofl:

I don't know how much Shawns Vette is putting down "exactly", but it seems like that thing just has everything working together for it. That's just a strong car. It's a shame he won't put just a wimpy 100-shot on it. :)

Anyways last time i took Ben for a ride in the Cobra he traded, this time in the Vette who knows. i think if the BMW makes to winter i'll be shocked. I'd like to try the Supra from about 30mph i think he would be a good race...nice car, looks good and clean. (yet im far from a Supra nut~swinger...)

a side note here. the way shawn worded this it sounds like my TA was repoed from me. this is not the case. i traded it for a cobra and the guy who bought it next got it repoed.

yep, i really got hooked on the 03-04 cobra after riding in shawns. and i would definatly still own the one i had if the engine would have been repared the way i think it should have.

as far as my next car. it is a toss-up between an ariel atom or a pontiac solstic built with an ls2 from Mallet.(400+hp). but who knows right now. i might just start auto-xing the expedition full time ;)

back to the topic;
-i had alot of fun riding with shawn. it was like old times. we have been each others shotgun riders for a LOOONGG time now. good to get back in that seat every once and a while.

LOL Yeah!! No I will call out 02typeS Soon enough.... But first {insert excuse here}

I have to.
1. Put a new clutch in cuz my old one is slipping already. (Stage 1 excedy race clutch + lasts 6 and a half months = Teh Ghey!!!! lol)
2. Put a new timing chain and exhaust cam on the intake side
3. A 50 shot of nitrous... If he is running forced inducted I should too damnit!! lol
