What do you have, and what do you want for it?

We sell a couple different kinds at my work. What kind are you looking for? We have a Ryobi 10" for $79.99, a Porta Cable for $119.99, I think we still have some Deltas for $79.99, DeWalt 12" sliding miter with the dual bevels for $449.99, or the Bosch slider for $599.99. I would be willing to give you my discount too, so those prices would way cheaper. Just let me know if you are interested in any of them and I will check and see how much one would be with the discount.

I'm thinking about the 10" Hitachi (15 amp) with laser. I might go with the 12" if the price is right.

The reason I'm leaning towards Hitachi is because we use them all day long at work, cutting aluminum pipe, and they hold up great. The prices you quoted sound REALLY cheap. Are they the really cheapo saws, bottom of the line?

Oh, and when they say DOUBLE miter, that means that the head tilts to the left and right?

Let me know what you have and the prices, and I may pay you a visit. Where do you work, and what are the hours?

The Hitachi's are good tools. My dad got a 5 pc combo set with a bag, 2 batteries, and charger 3 years ago and they work great. We don't sell them though, but they are still good tools. Those saws I listed are medium to top of the line. I work at Workshop Tools up in Pigeon Forge across from Belz Mall (the blue roof mall). You turn left at red light number 3 in Pigeon Forge. The name of the road is Teaster Lane. We are open 9-9 everyday except 9-7 on Sundays. I will get some prices for you when I can.

That would be awesome. I'm still open to options other than Hitachi. Does the place have a website?

Yeah it's WorkshopTools.com, but I think right now they are working on the website. We are trying to get some more products and prices on there. Yes KAT we do have DeWalt.

Engloid ~ FWIW, I have used the same DeWalt double compound daily for 5 years with no problems. VERY good saw, and I don't use anything else. You might consider that. It's a little pricey, but well worth it.

Get a Dewalt or a Rigid. Personally I would get Rigid because of their warranty. Lifetime.

I've not been as pleased wth DeWalt stuff as I used to be. I think they're like Dell....started out as good quality, but as time passes, the push for increased profits push quality downward.
