You shoulda got another Civic.
I was thinking about it, but I really don't want another project. It's a great base (not as good as the STI, but a hell of a lot cheeper, price wise, and Insurance wise) with lost of aftermarket support, and it was in the low area of my price range.
Ka240dude: I plan to make it competitive in STX. I'm not sure of all the rules of STS, but Thirdeye said, almost anything goes as long as you don't touch the boost, and probly lighten the car any.
PS. I added another pic....My favorite part of the car...The ass!

Not sure. Sounds like fun. I'm up for anything. I got some leave saved up, and am comming home Nov 17- Dec 3. I'm about to be an uncle, and would like to be there for my sister. I'm stoked!

The muffler is big, but it has the same size piping as your taxi

I can always depend on you if I want to feel depressed about something I like. Thanks Tony!

Congrats on the purchase.
Familiarize yourself with the SCCA rulebook if you want to make an STX car. You can get it online at scca.com.
Basically, for STX, you can do
1 - Intake/header/exhaust (must retain at least 1 cat within 6 inches of the original location)
2 - Tuning - fuel, timing can be altered, but not boost. However, if a MECHANICAL change to the exhaust increases boost, this is legal
3 - Wheels (8 in wide max)
4 - Tires (140 treadwear minimum)
5 - Brakes - pads, lines, fluid, rotors (BBK must attach to factory mounting points)
6 - Suspension. Just about anything goes, except ALK's. Also read up on bushing replacement rules, they can be tricky.
Let me know if you have any specific questions.

Thanks chris. I planed on using the catless downpipe, but now it looks like the catted it is. In about a month I should be getting the Cobb AP, so if you want a reflash I would gladly let you use the stage 2, if scca allows.

You can run a catless downpipe, but you would have to retain the 3rd cat....either/or
AP's can only be used on one car at a time.
