i could drag my knee too if i slid over that far....looks like you are just hanging off the bike and not going too fast
Looks like fun Rick. I am going to have to make a trip back up to 421 soon and check it out again.
Heck you should bring that bike to 411 and race in the 600 class...

Wow.. never met a guy that can judge speed from a still photo..
And I guess that when the AMA Superbike guys and Moto GP guys hang off they are just sitting still too..
I admit I am not the fastest guy on a track but have done dozens of track days and completed a competetion school, have my CCS Racing License and have raced before and no I did not finish last.
I thing your just a fucking asshole and because I am not on top of the bike going in a straight line your just a fucking jerk, no wait, I think your just a fucking jerk in general.

huh?
:weep: you are so sensitive...just saying what i thought. the bike doesnt look that far over. i didnt say exact speed jsut looked slower than some bikes ive seen pics of in the curves
look at your post of pics from shady valley on page 3
those look fast and have a reason to be hanging off the bike

The main purpose of hanging off the bike is to make a turn at a high speed with minimal lean angle to keep maximum tire patch in contact with the road surface, straight is fast and the more upright the bike the more you can be on the gas...
I have pics of me on the Race track leaned way the fuck over but it depends on the corner, this one is a sweeper to the right, no need to use max lean angle for it...
And your right, not a lot of Busa's wreck in the curves, cause most owners are smart enought to not take them up there...
Lets just do this, you dont reply to any of my threads and I will not reply to yours cause your a fucking prick IMO

Hmm I wanna see some curve action between a said "jet" busa and a honda and then that will settle this:chatter: once and for all......how bout it fellas?:lhdevil:
I think its pretty damn cool that he is dragging a knee. Hell I got excited when I was keeping up with traffic on lookout mtn today.

Like its said on the other post..
Even if a busa and a 600 went to the track the track would determine the results to a degree.
Example, a track with 2 or more long straights, the 600 will hate life, yes it will leave the busa in the corners then the busa will catch up on the straights, I had that problem with me and a 1000cc bike, I would pas it like crazy and he would be no where to bee seen, then the last 1/8th on the front stretch he would pass me.. it was like fuck.. I have to pass him again... Which in cornes sucks more, me and him spent half a day doing that..
Now on a track with short straights and more curves the busa would look worse...
a nimble 1000cc bike could pass the busa and pull away lap after lap, where a 600 just cant..
They all have advantages and disadvantages..
The newer bikes are getting more power, more nimble, lower center of gravity and better..
I mean I do not hate a Busa, hell I would not mind having one some day..
Its a combonation of bike, rider and track that determines a win...
No single thing determines the winner..
IMO anyway..

Sad part is I am faster in the curves on the 600..
Just not comfortable on the 929...
Never have been.. I like a 600 better...

Few you are SUPPOSED to get off the bike as far as possible to maintain traction just 929 said...not only does it maintain a good contact patch but it also allows the bike to move underneath you without upsetting the chassis with your added weight on the seat...next time u enter a corner get off the side of the bike as far as possible, stay loose and you'll see why we do it...i do the same thing even in slow corners...it just feels better not to mention it really stretches your legs that would otherwise be stiff and couped up....either way i did some crazy shit on my f4i and never got to drag a knee on it (i didnt have leathers) so he is still getting on it pretty good to be dropping a knee on the ground..
