if anyones interested . friday,saturday,and maybe sunday . we'll be in trucks , 4wheeler welcome too . a few of us will be camping around stateline campground .

should be a fun trip .

i'm posting this because i feel there may be a few people that has 4wheelers that might want to come . and maybe a few with trucks thats not allready on board with this trip .

if you don't know tellicos trails are some of the best in the US . also some of the hardest !

trucks if you anin't locked , and got tires ,and maybe a winch , don't bother posting you want to go . i'm not babysitting . truth be told . i figure i'll be broke after day one . and getting pulled out of the woods . this is how it works for me in tellico . alway have bad luck . i hope it changes .


all trucks are on at least 35in tires and locked front/rear .

I'll be in a cabin about 1/2 a mile from the little motel off of bald river falls that weekend. I wouldn't mind meeting up with you guys if possible - maybe that Saturday afternoon. Considering cell phones don't work there, where will you guys be riding at? Last time I was out there was 2 years ago so I'm not 100% sure where everything is - but the guy I'm staying with is from that area so he should know how to get there. We would just be watching BTW - unless he can get a 4 wheeler there.

you can get a 4wheeler everywhere we will be going . i really don't know where or how to tell you to meetup with us . all i know is i'll be camping above the bridge before the stateline somewhere . i think it is camp sites 7 & 8 then stateline .

1. Steering Box
2. Swapped out the whole Front Axle put Aussie locker/4.10's back in
3. Three worn out bushings
4. Replaced the brake shaft,brake springs and brake shoes in my winch
5. Welded on two new nuts in the frame to hold the winch plate down
6. Patch a 4 inch rip and a 2 inch rip in the TOP.

I am finally ready for Tellico.:lhdevil:DAMN!!! You've been busy...It's a maroon 98 Cherokee and it doesn't look to ever have been offroad...It is cherry. So far we have put Bushwacker fender flares, Rock Krawler 8" lift, US Alloy axles in the rear, not sure of the front, 4.56's front and rear, Warn skid plates. Hope to ahve the Warn front bumper and winch in by next weekend, but it isn't looking good. Warn rear bumper with swingout spare, which isn't in yet either, hell I don't think it's been ordered yet. 5 A/R 15X10 black wheels and 36x12.50's SuperSwampers, not sure which ones...but they are HUGE!!! compared to what I'm used to anyways

Looks like you all have been busy. I have been a little busy, just working on some recovery points and stuff. Do you all want to make a certain time and place to meet, for all the people that are staying in Cabins and stuff. We can also use our CBs for those who have them. I 'll probably be going up early Friday morning and staying around the creek crossing at 5, or my old spot in Spivey Cove. Looking forward to it, we should have a good time.

Yeah an easy ride sounds good. There was a guy on Dietz Rd selling firewood pretty cheap and it was split pretty small. So do we have a final list of who all is going?

You can make it to the creek crossing, no problem. I'm actually pulling a trailer all the way to the creek crossing. You could probably even make it across the creek pretty easy in a stock Nissan 4x4 if you wanted to, but if you're not camping across the creek then there would be no reason for that.
