Why is it whenever ANYTHING goes wrong with the Falcons it's Vick's fault? I am by no means a Vick Bandwagoner, but I mean c'mon, there's no way you can watch their games and not say the receivers are horrible, and the play selection sucks.

Somebody needs to jerk a knot in the receiver's asses and get them to play up to the level they can, and then they need to fire Greg Knapp.

You can only blame this one on one thing. Coaching. It just isnt there. The whole team looks flat. The D looks like jr high players the way they are getting pushed around up front. The db,s cant seem to cover big play recievers. The offense. Well where do you start on it. I mean none of the recievers can catch a cold. Could possibly be the worst recieving coor in the nfl. Vick needs to tuck the ball when he runs. Plain and simple. If not then bench him.

Exactly. those guys are undersized and can't pass block. they may be ok for that cut block run scheme but that type lineman isn't going to work for pass protection. they have the same scheme in Denver and same problem. i think it starts there, then coaches, then recievers. oh yeah, then the defense. Vick is the least of the Falcons worries.

Falcons have been my team since I was a little kid, and I have never seen the receivers look so bad in my entire life! Vick does a good job of putting the ball where it needs to be, but none of the receivers are hungry enough and they damned sure can't catch a ball.

Probably the best set of hands on the Falcons belong to DeAngelo Hall and he's a cornerback!

Team has some good players, but the offensive line isn't protecting Vick long enough in the pocket to let him set up the plays they need to, and the receivers just aren't catching the football - I've even heard one say that he throws the ball too hard...

that is a joke. did you just not watch the whole season? Jamal Anderson rushed for almost 2000 yards and the defense was rediculous, that is what got them to the super bowl. you don't catch 16 teams "on their worst possible week"

I will have to agree with this... And it isnt all his fault. the receivers do suck from what i have seen. it's jus that with another QB in there they did better...

He has no ability to read a defense his QB rating is poor he has more turn overs then TDs.What needs to be done is to use him as a slot reciever or wide out, he will never be an upper level NFL QB because he can`t read the defense and still doesn`t look off his primary reciever, if you can`t do these things you will never be a top level NFL QB,NEVER! Dan I disagree with your opinion. When he audibles and gets those long yards on a bootleg or qb draw, it is because he read the defense. I dunno if he is overrated...how is he rated?

Its not too late for all you guys to give up on Atlanta and start pulling for the Dolphins. lol They have won 4 in a row including handing the Bears their first loss, then beating KC, the Vikings and Detroit on thanksgiving. Joey Harrington seems to be pretty good when he has a decent O line and some good offensive players around him. He was just in a bad situation in Detroit. It had to feel good to go back there on Thanksgiving and whoop up on his old team that sold him out! GO FINS!

Yeah, Ricky will be back next year. He may be a strange cat but the man can run the rock! The combo of him and Ronnie Brown last year was killer. I think if they would have started Harrington at the beginning of the year instead of letting Culpepper start while he was still trying to recover from the knee surgery they would be in a whole different situation right now. He was sacked 21 times in 4 games. He had no mobility at all and looked rusty to boot. Joey has really elevated his play and has the opportunity to shine now. I hope they can win out and make the playoffs but it will be tough with games against Jacksonville, New England, Jets, Bills, but who knows, stranger things have happened.

I agree with you that Vick has not been making good reads this year. But i look at the whole situation completly different. Vick takes up a lot of the Falcons salary. People say they shouldnt put all the blame on Vick, but yet if the Falcons got rid of vick they could get numerous players for trade, or a top round draft pick. So with that being said, yes he needs to go.This is a game of wins and nothing else.

P.S. My cousin playes poker with Keith Brooking's Father. From what he has told me they are going to give Vick one more season after this one, and if he dosent produce they are going to find someone else. FYI

I think Vick is a running back that can pass the ball! Plus how many times has he fumbled the dang ball in the last few games? Nobody else to blame in those situations but him. I seriously don't think he is smart enough to play q/b. Someone said something about the O line being weak, well maybe! But you also can't hold a block forever while some ding-a-ling runs around behind you because he can't check down the rec. Plus he takes up tooo much money! Go Steelers!

Who has him so high up thats he overrated.....good question huh. Ive always said that he should be a wide out but the falcons have built the team around him and have WAY too much money tied up in him to move him away from qb.
