I am thinking about moving to NC. I have two cars that will not pass the visual inspection for emissions in states I know of. The Camaro is a 67 so emissions is not problem, however it has a 6" cowel hood and race only tires.

Is there any laws I have to be worried about like emission laws? are there any in NC. State wide or only certain areas.

Any laws concering hood scoops that will prevent me from running a 6" cowel or something bigger?

Currently I live away from any large towns where there are emission laws and I have had no problems with the cowel hood.

Anything 35 years old does not have to have an inspection in NC.

Cowel? Regular first gen z hood ony 4" taller.

What type of inspections Equipment like windshield wipers and horn? Camaro will fail. Emissions? Firebird fails?

Only certain counties in NC require actual emission test. If the car was manufatured after 1975, a visual inspection for a cat or smog pump may be required. I belive everyhing prior to 1972 does not have to be inspected yearly. I have a 68 Camaro drag car I am putting back on the road. My dad has 2 69 camaro's neither on had to be inspected.
