Like the title says, I need a cheap ported box for two 12's. Looks aren't really important, but I would prefer it to at least look decent. Im in Marietta during the week and Calhoun on the weekends, so let me know what you got.

How big can it be? I've got one I built for a Tahoe. Has never had a sub in it. It is tuned to 33-35 hz, so it will get loud and fairly low. if you will meet me I will let you have it for 20.

It's going in a grand cherokee, so I would imagine that it would work. Would it be too much box for 2 natural sound audiobahns? And is it in decent shape? If so, I can meet you somewhere this weekend and pick it up.

If you are talking about my box, it is a large box. This makes the subs very efficient, but they will unload if overpowered below tuning frequency. I had one of my subs in a similar box and compared to the same sub in a sealed box is was a good 4-6 db louder. I learned how to build loud good sounding ported boxes from one of the most knowledgeable people in the southeast. It is built out of 3.4 MDF not particle board. It is uncarpeted, but I started bondoing it, so you could paint it. I have over 30 bucks just in materials.

Vortec- It may not be the exact frequency that would work best for these subs cause they aren't very powerful, but I'll take it. I just have a tiny sealed box for them now and I think a ported would work ALOT better. I'll be back from college early tomorrow, so just let me know when and where I can meet you or where I need to come pick it up. Thanks.

I can meet you either this evening or tomm morning off Hwy 225. There is a favorite market at the first 4 way stop coming from I-75. It would be a good halfway point between you and I. I also have 2 12's and a directed audio 1500D amp for sale if you know someone who wants them. Let me know.

I just got home now so any time Friday or this weekend would be great. I can be as early or late as you need. The meeting spot sounds good to me so just give me a time and I'll see you there. Thanks.
BTW What are you asking for the system and what kind of subs are they?
PM me if you don't want to post it.

I tried that number, but the guy said he didn't know anything about it.

That has been my number for the past 3 or 4 years, so I don't know what happened unless you accidentally dialed it wrong. I'm good any time today or tomorrow so no rush. But try it again and unless something is screwed up with cingular and it's sending you to the wrong person then it should get me. I just dialed it to make sure nothing was wrong and it sent me to my voice mail, so it should be working.
BTW- My name is Jake and I should be the only one that answers unless I were to be away from my phone, then just ask for me. Thanks, sorry it didn't work earlier.
