Higher. What are you tuning, BTW? What car and what system? Who's tuning it?

Yeah about that. I think Im going to have a shop around here install the stuff. Not because of my choice, but because that is what my dad wanted to do, and offered to pay for it so yeah. I think Im gonna come by anyways though to hopefully gain some knowledge and meet some people. If that's ok with yall. Hopefully I can drag Zach with me.

Hmmm, Cobb, STi...wouldn't be a fella named Lee would it?

Anyhow, yes, the DynoJet usually reads high.

His name is not Lee.

Hey Chris,

Well my car was tuned on SOG dynamics dyno and it is suppose to read slightly lower than topspeeds dyno. I am not sure of the exact percentage but I put down 300whp and 305 tq I believe, cant find my dyno sheet. I was tuned with tbe and ecutek, this is 04 sti.

I have appointment at end of february with SS to get retuned with larger tmic, pnp stock headers and aps intake.

THRDEYE READ YOUR NASIOC PM, MAY NEED TO SCHEDULE ANOTHER INSTALL DAY????

Well, just got back - the car makes 300 tq on 93 octane, 314 tq on 100 octane. This is on an STU legal map - stock boost table and stock wastegate duty cycle. HP is slightly under 300 on both maps.

I can not wait to autocrotch it!

Doug did make a "street map" and tinkered with the boost. Made 320ish tq on 93.

What a difference tuning makes. The baseline run was about 273 tq.

its absolutely gay to modify a 30,000$ sports car solely to run in autox.

How is it modded solely to do autocross?

Yeah, we just drove it 3.5 hrs home and it actually worked as a car is supposed to....brakes, clutch, radio, and all.

and you have to be ghey to have a mustang that cant run better than a stock 93 accord with over 220,xxx on the clock. lets face it, your car is slow and your a gay:swinger:

yep, only power mods to the car are a PnC stock header, downpipe, midpipe (w/hiflow cat) and catback exhaust....oh, and a k&n drop in.

I may take my WRX down to see what they can do with it....I already have an ECUtek license, so it wouldn't cost that much.

You not gonna goto FASTECH, Thrdeye?

No, when I ask for an ST* tune, I would rather have the tuner say, "Oh, okay, I won't touch anything boost related" and then basically quote the rules to me.

Rather than, "What the fuck is ST? - and autocrotch is gay."

BTW, I really think they ought to just open up boost in ST classes, though. The car made ~10 more tourque with open boost than it did with no boost changes on 100 Octane. We would just need to figure out what to give the N/A guys to keep them happy....cams???? They already think all turbo cars are cheating anyway.
