Well, unfortunately while I was home for a few days I blew the output shaft bearing on my TR-3550. That means the car will be coming up here on a trailor. Anyway, since I am going to be taking apart the transmission anyway, it is due for a soft parts change.
I am thinking of sending out the required parts to Liberty to have them convert it to a face plate setup on 2nd, 3rd, and 4th. The conversion cost about $525 plus shipping. I am also going to change all the bearings out for Swedish SKFs. Anyone here running a face plate setup, and have an opinion on how well it works, and how streetable it is.
