What's Best For My Car?

I have an Eclipse cd/radio that I put in the car (don't recall the exact model). My speakers suck!

What would be a good setup for a RX-7? I don't need REAL loud. But, I don't want 'just above factory' either. Suggestions?

Roy,
I'd suggest just getting a good set of component speakers and a decent amp to power them. I have heard good things about alpine, JL, Eclipse, Infinity, Kicker, etc..

Go to your local stereo shop and see what sounds best to you and then buy elsewhere, i.e. online :D

speaking as an rx7 owner, you cant go wrong with the high end jl audio seperates that i now have in my 300zx...however, i am terribly partial to the boston pro seperates, as i competed for many years and ALWAYS used boston high end. you wont regret either however, theny can get pricey...

Using rear fill is only good for 5.1 surround. For great imaging and definition fronts set up correctly are the best way to go.
