My truck is a 2000 f150 5.4 triton with 166,xxx miles on it.
Today, I was driving home from savannah GA, (about 125 miles) on the interstate running about 80 mph. The truck ran fine. I went through town in some stop and go traffic and it wanted to vibrate really bad when I give it some gas. At first I thought it may be the transmission but on the highway it shifted fine. I press the gas pedal, the truck speeds up very slowly and vibrates really bad. When I'm cruising at hwy speed I dont really notice any vibrations. Im thinking that one of the coils could have gone bad. Is there anyway to check this?
