footbrake(no electronics) or pro?1/8 or 1/4? what kind of car? do you race for points? any wins this year?

I normally race in footbrake class, unless I am eliminated during second round, in that case, I will enter pro class, and pay the buyback for the 1st round of pro I missed.

Both of the local tracks are 1/8 mile.

I race an 84 Camaro

This season, I did not race for points due to repeated mechanical failures and lack of funding for my racing program. :(

There's always next year though!

I won 3 races got 2 semis and a bunch of 1/4-finals this year, which is excellent, considering all of the setbacks. One of the 1/4s was in a frontwheeldrive car w/ a 5-speed. That night, I cut two .00 lights (one during the 3rd timetrial, giving me the 1st round bye-run), and the round I got beat, I ran dead-on w/ a .005(ie 9.955 on a 9.95) w/ an -.013 red light!

i havent taken my car out in a long time, but this year i ran a few races in my uncles Ranchero, which i built the motor for. it runs IHRA Hot Rod (10.90 w/ throttle stop). didnt get to run any national races, just local stuff.

had a problem with the transmission slipping early in the season, but after i rebuilt it, the sixty footers picked up and i was much more consistent on the tree.

cool. I blew 2 10-bolts and a 700r4 this year.(the only reason I would even consider racing a 5speed in a competitive class is a lack of a operable racecar.) While I competeted at IHRA and NHRA tracks and events, I didn't actually competete for any points this year.

What electronics are allowed in your class? 2stage? roll control? pneumatic starting devices?

HR doesn't allow the use of n2o does it?
