91 f150 suspension setup

I am looking for advice on how to set the truck up. 91 f150 short bed regular cab 4x4. its more of a play truck than anything in specific but something streetable that can play on some rocks and get dirty in the mud.

i am definitely looking for the cheaper way out but looking more for what is required if i get to certain heights. for instance lets say i do a 6 inch lift what sort of things will i need to do to make sure its a safe and mostly reliable truck.

it has one of the first forms of IFS.. its called something else and works like a zissor motion
